Is it normal for my mom to hit me and also threaten to?

My mom slaps me, threatens to beat me up (mind you she’s never actually done this yet), yells at me, etc. It’s normally because I’m not doing well in school, because I’m spending too much time on hobbies, I lost something valuable, and stuff like that. She normally hits me with a wooden spoon when she does but she’s also tried other items. This doesn’t happen extremely often but it still does and I just need to know if I’m just overreacting or not. Please genuinely answer this as it’s a serious question of mine! I hope anyone going through something similar gets through it xx

So the @ mentions are a link, and if someone clicks on it, it brings the clicker to that user's profile page.

If someone changes their username, will all @ mentions...

...change to that new name and bring the clicker to the correct page,
...not change but still bring the clicker to the correct page,
or
...not change and bring to a nonexistent page.

Hi! I just wanted to ask: do your parents, like, show you love and affection at all in public? Like for example: hugging you goodbye, telling you they love you, stuff like that? Bcuz I see it a lot on movies and with my friends but my parents never do anything like that.

Like, the only times my mom says “good job” are when I drop, like, 5 seconds (which is a LOT, mind you) on all my events at a swim meet.
