I ran 3 miles, my head was hurting, I was sweating so much, could barely run, and kept going, I got an average of 9:30 per mile and finished in 30 minutes and ranked 38 out of 160 runners, and I had a soccer game after it and went and I've been resting all day now

So, I'm sure I've mentioned my dog enough to give a little sense of who she is. Every time I post pictures of her, people obviously love her. She was the best dog. She is the best dog.

Unfortunately, in late December, Zadie (her name), was diagnosed with cancer. Things at the beginning were rough, but I was sure she would survive. We'd take her to the vet weekly, if so once every two weeks, and things were going fine. After her surgeries, she'd eventually come back to her old spry self and play with her toys—but the cancer never really went away. Within the span of at least 3 months, she had gotten 4 surgeries. My parents were on the fence about continuously performing surgeries on her since this was becoming a monthly thing, but we wanted her to live. So far though, she was doing okay.

Until now.

Ever since December, we kept visiting the vet for updates about her cancer. By then I had known it was kind of bad, but it wasn't until pretty later that I found out her cancer was "aggressive". This meant that she would probably die because of it. And although it made me cry, I still tried to convince myself she'd get a few more years. Obviously though, that isn't the case. Recently, just last Tuesday, her leg started to swell up. It was really inflamed and red, and she could barely walk. It made no sense to me because just a couple of weeks ago, my mom and I took her for a hike, and she showed no signs of tiredness or anything really. It's like it just popped out of thin air. Her leg was completely fine. But since it started swelling, by the days, it started to get progressively worse. And it started to travel from her leg to her belly. It'd been established that her time with us had been cut short, but each day her condition got worse, the less days I thought she would live. It went from 3 years to 1 year, 1 year to 6 months, 6 months 4 months, 3 months to 1 month, 1 month to 2 weeks, and eventually down to one day. That's where we are now.

Sometimes I feel time goes by too fast. I had had her for 6 years, since I was 6, and she'd been with me through thick and thin. Since we had got her during the pandemic, she really helped with the loneliness I felt at home because I couldn't go to school. At the same time though, I feel like she's been with me much longer. And the fact that she's going just leaves an empty hole in my heart. There wasn't a single bad bone in her body—she was near a perfect dog. My parents had put down their two older dogs when I was just born, so they obviously had experience. But me? This has never happened before, and I feel so guilty that her sweet soul has to leave so soon.

Nights were rough, her breathing was quick and shallow and I was sure she'd die in her sleep. I'm so lucky she's still holding on for me right now. At the time I'm writing this, she's still alive in her bed, sleeping. That's how she's been for a few hours now. Sometimes she'd get up and act like her old self, but her infection was still there, and she was obviously affected. It hurts to see her suffer, but seeing her die hurts even more. Even if putting her down is the right thing to do.

By whatever time you're reading this—past 11:30 am—she'll be gone. I have never hated Saturdays more than now, but there's nothing I can do. I've cried so much I physically can't anymore. Seeing her just makes my eyes water, I wish I would've taken more advantage of all the time I had with her. It's all come to an end now.

Me and my dad took her to the backyard for one last time, and she was doing surprisingly well for her state. She had a far off look like she knew what was about to happen, and it makes me so wistful to know that Zadie embodied something a human never could. She was pure and always lively—no one could ever hate her.

And I'll be honest here. A part of me has come to accept that she's leaving today. I just want her to be free from the pain, so if putting her down is the most harmless and peaceful option, that's the road she shall take.

I'm gonna miss her so much, but I know she'll live happily in doggy heaven with those who have already crossed.

So with that, I hope you take just a moment to remember this sweet pup. You didn't have to know her personally—she'd love you no matter what.

There's been a quote from Charlie Kirk floating around, where he says that a few gun deaths every year are necessary for the second amendment. This is true. He has said, verbatim, "I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights."

What they never give you is the full quote, or the context. If you read the above snippet, you NEED to read the entire context before casting ANY judgement.

AUDIENCE QUESTION: How's it going, Charlie? I'm Austin. I just had a question related to Second Amendment rights. We saw the shooting that happened recently and a lot of people are upset. But, I'm seeing people argue for the other side that they want to take our Second Amendment rights away. How do we convince them that it's important to have the right to defend ourselves and all that good stuff?

CHARLIE KIRK: Yeah, it's a great question. Thank you. So, I'm a big Second Amendment fan but I think most politicians are cowards when it comes to defending why we have a Second Amendment. This is why I would not be a good politician, or maybe I would, I don't know, because I actually speak my mind.

The Second Amendment is not about hunting. I love hunting. The Second Amendment is not even about personal defense. That is important. The Second Amendment is there, God forbid, so that you can defend yourself against a tyrannical government. And if that talk scares you — "wow, that's radical, Charlie, I don't know about that" — well then, you have not really read any of the literature of our Founding Fathers. Number two, you've not read any 20th-century history. You're just living in Narnia. By the way, if you're actually living in Narnia, you would be wiser than wherever you're living, because C.S. Lewis was really smart. So I don't know what alternative universe you're living in. You just don't want to face reality that governments tend to get tyrannical and that if people need an ability to protect themselves and their communities and their families.

Now, we must also be real. We must be honest with the population. Having an armed citizenry comes with a price, and that is part of liberty. Driving comes with a price. 50,000, 50,000, 50,000 people die on the road every year. That's a price. You get rid of driving, you'd have 50,000 less auto fatalities. But we have decided that the benefit of driving — speed, accessibility, mobility, having products, services — is worth the cost of 50,000 people dying on the road. So we need to be very clear that you're not going to get gun deaths to zero. It will not happen. You could significantly reduce them through having more fathers in the home, by having more armed guards in front of schools. We should have a honest and clear reductionist view of gun violence, but we should not have a utopian one.

You will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry and you won't have a single gun death. That is nonsense. It's drivel. But I am, I, I — I think it's worth it. I think it's worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational. Nobody talks like this. They live in a complete alternate universe.

So then, how do you reduce? Very simple. People say, oh, Charlie, how do you stop school shootings? I don't know. How did we stop shootings at baseball games? Because we have armed guards outside of baseball games. That's why. How did we stop all the shootings at airports? We have armed guards outside of airports. How do we stop all the shootings at banks? We have armed guards outside of banks. How did we stop all the shootings at gun shows? Notice there's not a lot of mass shootings at gun shows, there's all these guns. Because everyone's armed. If our money and our sporting events and our airplanes have armed guards, why don't our children?

So when you read this, he suddenly sounds a lot more rational, doesn't he? If you don't think so, please explain why. The only solution to stopping all Gun violence would be to ban all guns, which clearly violates the founding fathers' intentions, and would also bring up the question of how much you're willing to ban for people's safety. And if you think banning all guns is what needs to happen, I think, whether you're right or wrong, you're the one being radical, not him.

Whether or not you agree or disagree with him on Gun Control restrictions, you can't say this statement is as evil as it's often framed.

But why would people quote him out of context so deceptively? I think it's clear. Nick Frietas has a good short on it, but I'll give my own take on it.

Certain left-leaning (I'm kind of beginning to think we shouldn't call it "The Left" anymore, see this video) people just don't want to admit that their side of the isle is getting increasingly and more frequently violent, radical, and insane. So they'll do whatever they can to diminish this.

Some will just laugh and celebrate the murder claiming Kirk was a bigot who deserved it. Clearly enough of these kinds of people exist to be a problem.

Some, however, will subtly try and trash Charlie Kirk's character and reputation to diminish the significance of his death. "Oh, a man was shot and killed, a family left without a father, but he had some pretty awful views on human life so he got what's coming to him, eh?"

I've already seen people acting this way on this very website and have called it what it is: Disgusting.

It's already stupid to think that anybody, even somebody who held evil viewpoints, should be killed simply for holding them. It's also stupid to think they "got what's coming to them" or are "facing their own words" or whatever. If you think this, or anything akin to this, your twisted sense of justice is disgusting and by your own standards people should say the same things of you next time you face any tragedies.

I've already shown how these kinds of people will purposely take things out of context to lie and tarnish reputations, or worse, will without research share these lies that end up spreading a terrible picture of him.

Don't ever believe bite sized quotes. Either look at the context or dismiss them entirely, but never take them at face value. Please be careful what you read about Charlie Kirk especially, now more than ever evil people want to lie about him. Whether you are conservative or liberal, you ought to be able to get behind depicting the past, and people especially, as they truly were, and not falling into gossip.

As of this morning, the FBI states that they are very close to finding the shooter. More details of this is unknown but thank the Lord that he is gonna get arrested. I know this is a bit late to post it but I haven't posted about this stuff.

As you probably know, the Conservative Activist and Media Personality Charlie Kirk was shot and killed. He's never been somebody I frequently viewed; I don't even think I've ever watched a youtube video from him or anything of the sort. I agree with some of his politics, I'm occasionally critical of some of the things he says. I just saw him as another voice in the constant hubbub of the political world. From what I know he was a major voice in getting young people to vote for Pro-Life and Traditional values, and for that I'm very grateful.

When he was shot, my first reaction was honestly fatigue. This is the third time I've seen this kind of politicized/political violence in a month and I'm just so tired and saddened by it.

First there was that lunatic who shot children in the Annunciation School. The Legacy Media far, too many Politicians, and Liberals in general ignored the fact that this person was Transgender, an Anti-Semite, hated Catholics, and had left-wing views. Of course the problem is solely Guns, not any of the ideologies and views that motivated this person to act. In fact, if you even imply that there's any connection between their being Transgender and the shooting you're (supposedly) a bigot.

Then there was that stabbing on the train in Charlotte, North Carolina, where the aforementioned Legacy Media didn't bother mentioning it for WEEKS, because the perpetrator (who, granted, was likely morally inculpable due to his schizophrenia) was black, the victim was white, and race being a likely motivation for his crime. They only bothered covering it after conservatives noted their silence, and of course when they finally covered it, the story was primarily about the aforementioned conservatives being racist for noting their double standards and less about the actual murder that took place. Now liberals and politicians are once again vilifying anybody who makes note of this. I don't care about the color of anybody's skin, we're all made in the image of God. Which is why this is just so disgusting to me.

There's so many other things that lead up to this. The **** gangs in England, the attempts on Trump's life, the killing of the Healthcare CEO. Throughout it all the assailant is somehow a "victim" and sometimes they go so far as to say the actual victim deserved it.

Finally we have Kirk's assassination, where he was ironically enough discussing left-wing violence right before he was shot. I can already tell what's going to happen. The Media is already doing its shtick. In addition to this, people are celebrating his death.

My first reaction was fatigue. I know what's going to happen and I'm disgusted. When we talked about what happened at the family dinner table, my fatigue turned into anger. A man was shot to death. A family will live without their father. Meanwhile people in my Father's workplace were celebratory. Somehow Charlie Kirk was the hateful bigot who got what's coming to him, but crickets on the actual hate that causes people to go out and shoot someone.

There's political violence on both sides. That's a tragedy. But can we please acknowledge what motivated somebody to go out and kill a man who, whether you agree with him or not, did nothing but try and get people to talk? And can we please, for the love of all that is Good and holy, not celebrate a man's death? If you feel any joy at what's going on this situation you are sick, and I hope you think of this the next time a loved one dies.

As a side note, I was once personally asked to join Turning Point after speaking at a county event. I at first declined, but now I'm reconsidering.

I think this man's death is more significant than MLK's, jeez.

Chapter 14

I woke up, I looked around for any sign of what time it was. Night Time. Everything looked so bland now, like everything was almost devoid. But it looked a little more colorful.

I turned around so maybe I could try to fall back asleep even though I knew I wouldn't fall back asleep until four.

Theo was next to me shirtless, I’m assuming he just sleeps like that. I felt through my hair, I wanted it to curl, so it curled. The great part about this ability other than making my hair look perfect, I could pick anything up and grow my hair to any length, I could get my hair tangled through tons of things and make it reside and my hair would no longer be tangled, and when I picked up stuff it didn't matter how heavy it was I could pick it up with ease, I even tried it on a abandoned building and it worked.

I walked to the front door and opened it. A fresh wave of breezy wind hit me.

It felt warm even still, I remembered when me and Theo walked around that there was a lake nearby. I decided I wanted to swim. I went back inside and changed into my swimsuit- more like a lacey but still covers everything bikini -and headed to the lake.

It was more of a somewhat forested area but secluded enough for people not to see unless they looked purposefully.

I stood there and stared at the water, the ripples, the plants submerged within it, and dove in.

It had been a few years since I had last swam, but I somewhat remembered how to swim. Or I thought so. The water felt too deep, the surface of the water felt so far above me, my arms and legs tried to peddle me up but I couldn't remember. I tried to use my hair but I couldn't see. I wanted to go back to the surface. I couldn’t breath, my lungs felt like they were filling with water. My brain felt foggy. My vision started to blur. My body felt weak. Maybe this is for the best. I can be with my family. Maybe things can go back to how they used to be.

I felt a hand grab my wrist and pull me up. I breathed as fast as I could in fear I might never get to breathe again. I looked for whoever saved me. Asher looked back. “Thank- I gulped for more air-you” He looked worried. He still had a hold on my wrist. “Com'on.” Said Asher. He pulled me to the ground. “Are you okay?” He asked worriedly. I shook my head yes. I got up and started back to Theo’s house. I wanted to sleep. I’d nearly died. I still had to process it.

I waved bye to Asher. He looked worried, and sad. I felt bad but I was the one who almost just died. I opened the door and went to Theo’s room. I grabbed my clothes and headed to the bathroom. I changed and went back to his bed. I looked at him. His soft, shy features. He liked me. So did Asher. What am I supposed to do knowing both of them feel something for me. I walked to Theo’s side, and moved his hair from his face. I planted a soft kiss on his forehead. He was a sweet boy.

A boy I couldn’t help feeling something for. But the same could be said about Asher. I liked both of them. But I couldn’t have both of them. I couldn’t have everything. I had to pick one or the other or have no one.

Right now, the news is the tragic death of Charlie Kirk, a politician, activist, author, father, husband, and son. The fact that someone would just someone for not liking their opinions is insane, and what is even crazier is that they would do that in a school. The man had a family who loved him, and his life was cut short from one guy who just doesn't like something he said when he didn't even need to listen. He was only 31, and he could have had at least 40 more years but no. He was for speaking his heart.

so today I was outside playing around on the ice (I slipped and fell 3 times tehe) I called C and I said "hey! wassup?" and he said "nothing can you hang out this weekend?" and I said "I might sorry I couldent hang out this weekend my mom was sick" and it went on for a bit and then at the end of the call he said "I have to go now dex love you" and I said "oh okay bye" and I got off the phone, then after a while he texted me this

I have some stuff to say I loved Paul Reuben, he was one of my favorite actors, without paul, minecraft story mode wouldn't have been the same, now he is looking for adventure in a better place,
