EXCERPT FROM MY STORY "AN UNLIKELY PAIR":

Lucy's wake was nothing of note. There were those rare few that may or may not have knew her, but for the most part everyone was confused. No-one really knew what had happened to her, really. The police only gave up her COD and even then not even the police were sure what to make of it. So, as most rumor-mongering adolescents did, they drew their own conclusions. Some said she was attacked by Mr. Sharpe's giant, hairy Australian tarantula Savannah. Some pointed to the "Ghost Of Oakley High" as the aggressor. But some smarter, cleverer ones side-eyed Mac. The police had already ruled out the possibility that the incisors belonged to a human (though they never told the general public this information, it got leaked anyways.) It made sense to them. He was there when it happened. He already had a bad rap for being unfreindly and intimidating, the rumors just amplified its credibility (if it was considered credible at all.)

Nevertheless, these were just mere theories.

No one but Della had seen what laid in that gruesome scene,

And the death of that poor, poor girl

...What was her name again?

Oh, right,
