It’s more shabby than I would have thought, but also I can tell it just got cleaned lol.

Uh so apparently all the girls are a lot more pretty at public school, then co-op, and the boys I saw were either (a, trying to look cool (b, moody, and/or (c, with their shoulders hunched over.

I didn’t get a tour or anything yet, pretty sure that’s next week, so that will be interesting.

Also my older brother’s friend was there, didn’t recognize him for a min or two, i js thought we were sitting with strangers ToT. And then I actually looked at him and realized he was someone I kinda know.

Also he looked nervous? I’m pretty sure he goes to public school regularly, and being an empath made me relize he was nervous at me..?

Like idk why, sure I notice that he is always nervous around me, and I have a feeling sometimes he looks at me while I’m not watching, but I’m fairly certain that the red on his face was js cuz it’s hot out or got sunburned, cuz plenty of other boys had a lot redder of a face then him.

Also no way in cats does he have a crush on me, I’m way to chopped for that, I mean like this was what I was wearing.

I almost went on full flush mode when I made i contact with one.

Also, please dont let me turn into a gen alpha kid, like half the population says i am(it’s a massive debate if I’m gen z or gen alpha, but I’m technically a gen z if we use the every 15 years rule)

Js dont let me start using gen alpha slang like skibidi toilet or anything similar, cuz I alr know how annoying I am to everyone else, no need for me to gain a whole new level of it TwT.

Also yes, I am going to be openly Omni(I’ll js say I’m pan so more ppl understand) in school, but no way am I gaining permission from my parents to be openly trans.

Let’s js hope I shed the single Pringle title this year, and get a gf, bf, or anything inbetween or outside of those terms.

Cuz I’m tired of reading romance novels and having to make up a world were I have a partner, js to get a bit of dopamine.

Also we don’t talk about how one of the adults that I had to talk to me, gave me observant look, and decided I needed to be reminded of the security rules.

Like sure, I’ll probably end up breaking some, but it’s not like I don’t know what society considers bad and good.

Like she gave me a long hard look to, Apparently I look the image of someone who would make trouble.(i dont smile much, and find small talk pointless, also the less morals probably peak out a bit to the ppl who know what to look for)

But I’m not going to be bring in alcohol in my water bottle, miss. I’ve only ever tried wine like once and immediately disliked it(come on yall, I know you guys have had some while underage, it’s practically considered normal atp to see what it taste like before 22)

So I'm kind of pushing to get a phone because I'm at that age and grade where everyone else has one and the kids who don't have one are starting to get one so..

The main reason I want one is for easier texting and smoother editing skills.

I kinda had one in 3rd grade but I got it taken away I think because I used it too much? idk I still to this day have no idea where it is

I don't mind working to pay for it, and I'm sure my mom will say okay, but the thing is I have to convince my dad. I really don't wanna ask him because I know he's just gonna say no. It took enough convincing to get my tablet, and he seems to be pretty cool with it.

also, @kidzsearch do you have any reason as to why I cant access kt on my tablet? like whenever I try to open it it just shows "performing security verification" and when I try to check the "I'm not a robot" it never lets me in.

Italian kids often end up ruining their mental health JUST FOR SCHOOL. In America it's different. In middle school the average pages an american study is equal to 10 i think? And the tests are cross tests. In Italy is not like this. In middle school we have to study 20-100 full pages, not read the pages or doing exercises, but STUDY ALL THAT. And they don't give us cross tests, but mostly oral tests, that give students a very big anxiety during the test. Not only the study system is messed up, but even the school buildings! For example, my school hasn't a gym, a cafeteria (in Italy we stop eating from the cafeteria after kindergarden-elementary school) and we have a bunch of old computers and only one floor with 4 sections! Something in the school is not even safe like some big doors that are collapsing! Most of the italians kids have to go to school even in saturday if they don't have a cafeteria! Yes, the major part of the school buildings are not messed up here in Italy but comparing our schools to the americans school... they are sooo messed up! And the sad thing is that taxes are really high in Italy just for the broken promise that schools can be better, for example... And i know some people that they studied so hard for end up being an ignorant in life in Italy! I think that the italian government have to wake up and consider to adopt a better school system like the scandivian ones. I unfortunately can't explain all the problems because it's an hard argument and there are TOO MANY PROBLEMS! I targeted this to american because most of the users in this site are americans. If I said something wrong tell me!

I should’ve gotten a shower this morning, otherwise I would have been able and willing to do my schoolwork.

Cuz I hate the icky feeling of my hair rapped around my scalp like a greasy gross helmet.

I guess I could always js blame Um for not being responsible and taking care of the body, but he already has done a major favor to the system, and would be socially obligated to give him more leeway.

Especially since I havnt exactly been pampered this body whatsoever; but I still have my standard.

But I’m not going to take one now, cuz it’s the middle of the day and I only ever(unless absolutely needed) take a shower in the morning or evening.

It’s better like that.

If I start taking shower whenever, my routine will be messed up.

So ig I’ll just have to extend my school plan one more day. ugh.

But perhaps since I won’t be mentally exhausted by the end of the day, I can finally work on reading my assigned reading..

Like 2 days ago i finished the official (well, to us)headmate notebook.

Like bro, I’m not even joking, I was practically pulling my hair out over not being able to find info on some of them who literally put the vaguest of answer known to mankind in their Spotify bios and not even bother to put info anywhere else.

(Sorry, I’m not tired add proper grammar in that run-on sentence TwT)

I’ve also actually be keeping to my plan to finish school before school starts up again (which for me is august 8th). I’ve been doing 2 math lessons a day, 1-2 English a day, 1 civics a day(which will be increased to 2 a day but js the reading bc I’m a lot more behind in that, for the next 2-3 days) and then the book im required to read.

So it should be all done and completed by 7/3.

9 days more days :33

Perhaps I’ll actually get some summer out of this year (which is js my regular day but without schoolwork)

Ik basically every school aged person you met will tell you they hate school, but (and tell me if this is normal for you guys) I like phicallly and mentally get so stressed out by it even starting. As soon as summer starts I’m dreading starting a new school year, and I’ve had panic attacks over it.

It’s not like I go to a bad school, I’m really grateful about the school I go to but I feel like it has such high standards.

I’m mostly axious becuase one, I have a stutter and starting school means having to read out loud, introduce myself, etc. It’s especially bad in Spanish because I know what I’m supposed to say but the teacher and other students think I don’t because I take so long to say it.

Two, friends issues and bullying: my friend group is so shifty and there’s always drama about person A and person B. And for bullying that’s pretty obvious.

Three, and this happens every year since, what 4th grade, is that I get actually depressed during school. I don’t mean just sad like because I have to do work.

Four, I have adhd and at least the symptoms of autism (I haven’t been diagnosed yet) so the crowed halls, loud noises, etc make it really hard to function from day to day not to mention I can’t bring support tools like my DSSA, noise canceling headphones, fidget toys

Physically, when I get sick, even if I feel horrible, if it’s not contagious, I go to school becuase if I miss even a day “oops, you missed the paring for this group project, and assignment worth 70% of your grade, and two tests you have to retake in the next 3 days!” (True story about the tests)

Anyway uh yeah, you can share your experience in the answers but plz don’t share your whole life story

So I'm almost done freshman year of high school (Out on my birthday yipee!) And of course we are in finals week. However because my math grade has been a steady B through out the entire year no matter what I do on the final I'm going to pass my class with a B. It's the same for many other kids to which meant what?

Yeah me and everyone who were going to pass no matter what just drew on our finals. I did rainbows and smiley faces, one friend of mine drew a bunch of ducks, and another guy I knew drew a whole beach picture on the back of his. We all also just answered "IDK" and afterwards we just were on our phones cause there's nothing else to do were out in four days.

We took Greek classes since we were four. You’d assume we’d be completely fluent, but NO, nobody knows any Greek. AT ALL. Meanwhile, our Greek classes were replaced with Spanish classes this year. I’ve read the first two books of Harry Potter in Spanish from learning the language for ONE YEAR, while I have absolutely no idea how to speak Greek.

I am homeschooled

I am actually SO behind on on my schoolwork. Like I feel like such a lazy IDIOT

So my mom threatened me to make me go to regular high school

But I don't know. I feel like being homeschooled and going to regular school both have things that SUCK about them.

Here are some things I thought of, and you can help me decide (And also tell me some other things on what high school is like)

Homeschooling:

pros:

I don't have to get up super early
I have a easier schedule
Don't get overwhelmed as much
No bullies

cons:

Almost never get to leave the house
REALLY easy to just forget to do my schoolwork and be really behind and feel like a failure
I can never get away from my family
I have no friends
Not motivated at all
I have to teach myself

High school:

(from what I know)

pros:

I get to be around people (Maybe a chance to make friends)
Maybe I won't be so behind because I will be more forced to do my work?
It might actually be better for me if I wake up earlier because recently i've been waking up in the afternoon :/
I get to be around people other than my family for a while
If the school doesn't suck then I get to be called he/him and my preferred name

cons:

Might be really overwhelming at first
I have sensory issues, and stuff like it being very loud or crowded makes me overwhelmed and when I get really overwhelmed it just sucks (It depends on what school it is though, because some schools are really big but theres smaller schools too)
Chance of me getting bullied (Thought when I used to go to a regular elementary school I never got bullied.)
If the school does suck (or I am too scared) everyone might have to call me the wrong name and gender (I already don't get accepted, but at regular school you have to see more people, so you can't ignore it as much)
I don't know if schools in New Mexico suck or not

Anyway this question might just be useless because it's my parents choice

And my parents want me to be homeschooled I think

But I guess I just want other people's opinions T_T

There is still so much work to do, still so much homework. These last 9 days will be stressful. Luckily, we got field day in a week so that’ll be a little respite from an overload of schoolwork. Learning is fun but not when you’re expected to learn a week’s worth of material in a day!

BUT

This is not the time to think about how quickly summer is approaching! The landlord is coming to inspect my house on monday and I have to clean up my room or else we will get evicted!

My room at my dad’s house is nowhere as bad as my mom’s house, so I doubt it’ll take more than a couple hours to clean.

I’ll clean a bit tomorrow and do some homework, then finish cleaning on sunday and then finish my homework.

Once I get my room clean and decorated, all my wallpaper up (it’s the peel and stick stuff and it keeps falling down :C) I’ll post a room tour or something. After school gets out, probably.

I’ll probably post a hair reveal too after I cut it! Summer will be fun. Maybe. Hopefully. If I don’t have a good time during summer, I’ll just be on kt a whole bunch just so I can get through it. But at least I’ll be able to get a full night’s rest again???

Oh and my brother will be visiting for like 9 days after school gets out! Then he’ll move into his overpriced closet-sized apartment and go back to school. IN THE SUMMER! All he does nowadays is study. Study study study. I’ll also get to visit him for his birthday too! I’ll update a bunch i guess. It is fun getting to stay in the city! Small towns can get boring after a while.

Uhhh well, sorry for yapping so much. I will go lie in bed now. I don’t want to fall asleep on the couch on accident again XD

This one guy at my school thinks he’s the greatest person on Earth, and he treats basically everyone like a literal punching bag. The only thing is that nobody likes him and he’s really, really stupid.

One day, he gave my science teacher a card before he got back his test. She said, “Thanks, and I’ve got something for you too…”

mine is probs thursday

i know you might not like mine and disagree w me but

i have english first period - lovely teacher

then design & tech - mid techer

spanish- funny techer but also SLT

double maths back to back - not that bad for the first maths i have a cringy teacher and the second one i have a real nice one (my fav teacher) but she is pregnant so she is going on maternity leave (NOOOOO!)

why is it al ways the best teacher that leave

My friend who we will currently call Hazel was having a rough day

And so at the end of the day I slid my handmade ring off my finger and walked over and asked her to be my girlfriend

She almost immediately agreed and I gave her the ring

I just finished making a second ring for me so we match

And yes I make rings out of wire

Anyways I’m so happy

it’s so fun and useful

It can be a bit tedious without a calculator for harder problems, but that’s true for any math or anything so I don’t take that into account

School Choir Stuff (Big Rant)

Okay so, today the sixth graders came to the high school, and the choir had to sing a song for them to tell people to join choir. usually there are around six or seven baritones, but the two baritones who are seniors weren't there, and another baritone wasn't there, and the other three baritones didn't sing at all. They just stood there. They usually don't sing that much, but it was dead silence from them. It ticked me off so bad. And the two baritone seniors are graduating, two baritones are dropping out of choir or moving, which means there'll be around two or three baritones, but our choir teacher is thinking of splitting the choir into two, so there's a junior high choir, and a regular choir, so yeah.

But my acquaintance, who I'll call Rat is joining choir. He is Native American like me, so he can sing well, cuz he's in drum circles and stuff.
