Apple vs. Samsung: You Decide

I personally have had Samsung phones my whole life. And I am rly just done with Samsung. I have read about apple and the phones, the new IOs update 26, with the liquid glass, and all the cool features in IMessages, along with the amazing photography capabilities Iphone has overall.

I have always had parental controls on my devices, and then recently my dad made me a deal: he said If I pay for the phone, the data plan, and the phone is under $300 @ 16 I can buy it and it can be any phone. (not sure if there is going to be parental controls, 75% chance there will be lol)

Sooooooooo hopefully by 16 which is about a yr and 3 months away for me (which give me time to save) the Iphone 15 pro will be under $300. I want the 15 bc that the first phone to the the Apple Intelligence 18 chip I think. If that phone is under $300 then I am going to get that one, but if it isn't then I am going to prob have to go with a 12, 13, or 14 :(. By 2027 I feel like it will be under $300 *fingers crossed*

But I want to know what r your opinions on apple and Samsung, which one is better, and what do u have. I am being 100% rn, ur not gonna change my view on apple at all, but I want to know what u think.

This is kinda one of those am I in the wrong stories but also, pls give me advice

One of my passions is performance tech and I am really good at it. (My plans for my friends school talent show routine involve a smoke machine and 6 microphones)

For the school play i was chosen to do mics because I’m the most organised so I can create all the sheets needed to keep it under control. Here’s when the problem comes in… there is this girl in the year above who was casted as a lead orphan in our performance of Annie, I was told to take her mic because one of the leads needed it (some stuff was going on so they were sharing)

she kicked off, screaming, yelling, even threatening to get me kicked from the play (obvs she couldn’t do that, I could get her kicked in seconds if I wanted to (I don’t)). We compromised and the dsm was on my side (she had had a few experiences with this girl before and actually wanted to kill her on my behalf) so she wasn’t going to get a mic after her first scene on (that might be where I am in the wrong)

All of the stage managers, directors, vocal producers and such were in the tech box complaining about her on Sunday apart from head of music (the girl is so bad at acting it’s not even funny, she was chosen because the head of music loves her).

Extra info, she made me cry on Friday because she was being so horrible, I was scared to come into school on Sunday for rehearsal because I was so scared and I skipped school today (because I had a headache from stress and also incredibly tired from lack of sleep worrying about this. (My mum kinda gives us one day a term that if our mental health is too bad we don’t have to go in)). The sixth former when on without a mic because she could see how stressed I was (she now has her own mic… funny how that happened)

On Sunday evening after she hadn’t come to rehearsal because it was her birthday (even though anyone involved had to sign this contract saying they wouldn’t miss Sunday rehearsals unless it was told about before the contract was signed)( she didn’t tell anyone in advance) she emailed me with the worst written email I have ever read saying that she couldn’t sing her solo in act 2 (12 words) without a mic because it was ‘so high’ (up to a D) and copied in the head of music. This was at 10 pm on a Saturday. I emailed back that we could sort something out on Tuesday (dress rehearsal) almost immediately because I’m scared of her and then the head of music emailed back about how she was so talented and that ofc she would get her own mic for the entire thing. She didn’t ask my permission (as head of mics all teachers are meant to run anything to do with audio by me) and i was too scared to do anything

Tommorw I need to go to school and face them both and I’m so scared because I don’t think I can

Please help

Also, was I in the wrong for taking away her mic?
