Cricket injuries lol

Hello! Kinda odd one today but iykyk, im very accident prone. Like; ER every 6 months for the last 3 years

so I had cricket club today and was in bat (hardball) in the nets and was against some of the performance squad bowlers. And I already had done something to my knee a few days ago (cricket against my brother cause he’s performance squad under 11s and needed to practice for a match) but it wasn’t too bad. And then a cricket ball at about 60 or 70 mph thwacked into the cricket pad right where it has been painful. Luckily it’s not broken so I’m just resting it and celebrating that my next er visit hasn’t come early but yh, just thought id let you all know.

I also have an all day tech rehearsal for wind in the willows tomorrow (school production) and I’m tech team so we still have a bunch of staging to set up so that’ll be fun lol.

Edit: so I thought the other places I was thwacked in the nets that aren’t covered with pads were fine but turns out I am gaining quite a large bruise in the centre of my chest, right on the bone and quite a large bruise on my upper arm. Oops :). I really need to stop doing this kinda thing - and start saying when it hurts. Like my coach always asks ‘u ok?’ And I’m like ‘I’m fine’ while it hurting to stand on my leg… yes, I get that I have a problem. So what, tell my coach (wait, you can’t lol, I’m in the uk and none of you know what club I go too). I am stupid. I am stupid
