I didn't drop my love of fashion(or any of my traditionally "fem" interests for that matter) just to fit in as a boy. I still like pretty princess skirts, and coquette, and dresses! I just don't want to be a girl, and we shouldn't assign a gender for clothes! I ADORE fashion and frequently spend HOURS researching aesthetics and even more hours using my new knowledge of fashion to design entirely new, fantastical outfits for my OCs i can only wish to have myself. Plus, my history SPIN ties into it because i ABSOLUTELY LOVE AND CHERISH AND ADORE FASHION HISTORY!!! I know what people wore in certain time periods because my SPIN wanted me to pay attention!

Like, in the 1950's it was all polkadots, cateye makeup, big skirts, pearl necklaces, SPACEEEEE, the comeback of gloves! I love fashion SO MUCH despite always looking like i just got out of bed(i ALWAYS wear basketball shorts or sweatpants and some graphic tee or a tank top. occasionally comfy sweaters.) Anyways, i've rambled.

okay so I've recently started transitioning (male to female) and acting more feminine in private. I've started to become more comfortable around my sister, who's a few years younger than me. Ever since, shes started making kind of derogatory comments when I act feminine. (ex. I put my sleeve down, she says "you look like a stupid femboy" or "put your sleeve up you look like a *nono word*) I've seen her act like this about people I watch and other people in general. I'm really hurt over this and just want to share my feelings. If you have any advice, PLEASE HELP ;-;

So I am nonbinary, and my family supports. My mom supports more than my dad, and even so, my mom is definitely not the most supportive person in the world, but she does support. My mom said it’s fine for me to buy a binder. I know I am going to outgrow it, so I thought I shouldn’t spend too much money on one. I still want one that is safe, so I thought I should still buy one from a reputable brand. I decided on getting a make-your-own-binder kit from the company Shapeshifters. It was significantly cheaper than buying a pre-made one from them. I probably could get one for even cheaper, free, or make one entirely from scratch (not safest method), but $32 isn’t that bad for something I would wear almost everyday. (I hate shipping prices though…) Having a binder would be really great since I have gender dysphoria and I am so uncomfortable about my chest. Like, if I am wearing anything but a super thick flannel shirt, I can’t look at myself without being like “AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH IS MY CHEST ACTUALLY GETTING THAT BIG NOW???!!!???”

I’m so happy! Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to arrive and for me to sew it.

Like I wanna go out and not just be seen as a “boyish girl” I wanna be seen as a boy

But I’m not even allowed to get my hair cut short because according to mum “you need to keep going the hair dresser to keep it short”

At this point it just feels like she’ll do anything to make me look like a girl

No mum, I WON’T be wearing a dress to the wedding. I’m not a girl.

I wanna go out and have people say he instead of she.

Then again i apparently can’t identify as something masculine because mum thinks I’m too young.

I don’t want to wait til I’m 18 to say I’m a boy.

I want to confidently say “yeah I’m a man” without people being surprised.

i loved playing 3008 on roblox back in 2020, and i met lots of cool people there. there was this one group id hang out with a lot, and we'd normally have a lot of fun. however, i noticed that they'd refer to me as a guy, and i was SO confused,,,however, i felt happier whenever people would refer to me as a guy. it made me feel lighter, if that makes sense.

after a while (about two years later), i started to accept how i felt, and began to dress more boyish, and i felt happy. my parents, though, dont accept anything else besides lesbian and gay people,,(my father said he'd disown if i transitioned,,coughs)-

we've had multiple conversations about me being trans, and they kept saying how it was a "phase" and how'd i grow out of it. but, i feel so incredibly happy whenever people refer to me as a boy, use he/him prns, etc! ^.^

when i turn 18, im planning to get my hair cut short (because i know for a fact my parents wont let me cut my hair short as of rn,,)- and,,,,im also gonna try to get surgery to fully transition.

(and yes, i've done an excessive amount of research on everything, and i know the consequences of doing the surgery,,,)

a few facts because i feel like writing more stuff,,,

the PROBLEM about being TRANSGENDER is that only like, 5 ppl know abt it, my bro-bro (obvi oldest), my sister on accident, some other peeps, but now i am coming out as trans to Kawaii_Girl:), Olives, i use now He/Them, pls respect my pronouns, and its okay if you get them wrong sometimes, and also Olives, beware that Nate and my parents or fam besides my sisters dont know im trans, also Fluffy Will doesn't know either, but u can use my pronouns around him, if he 'corrects' you, then tell him this "Okay, boomer" it'll be so funny and he'll go crazy and crash out, anyways bye yall's!

I wish I could peel it off my bones and give it to someone else. So I'm a 12 year old trans boy, and I'm closeted so my family but not my friends. I HATE being called "she" but bc I'm not out to my parents and siblings that's what I'm always called, and it makes me even more dysphoric. My friends also keep misgendering me and dead naming me even when I correct them all the time.

I have a relatively flat chest but it still gives me the most dysphoria. I don't have a binder so I have this makeshift one out of leggings and sports bras, and I know you're only supposed to bind for a few hours at a time but I CANT FJSCNKSND.

I WANNA BE A BOY. I DONT WANT A PERIOD. I WANNA BE A BOYYY

And my hair is also really long too :/

So I have a friend who's trans, right? I am COMPLETELY supportive and I even helped him pick out his name, but sometimes I accidentally call him by his dead name, or use she/her pronouns. I use They/Them pronouns myself, and again, am COMPLETELY SUPPORTIVE, I just mess up sometimes. I feel really guilty can someone help me?

otay so, if you didn't know I'm a transmasc. and so I not so recently started going by he/him pronouns as well as they/them etc. and so in theater we were supposed to write our bios abt the shows we've done, and we are supposed to write them in 3rd person. so for my bio I decided to be adventurous and I use he/him prns for my bio. and today my theater teacher goes up to me and says, "oh, I saw that you used he/him pronouns for you bio, would you like me to cast you for more male roles in the future?" *dies of emo boy transgender excitement*. SHE IS SO NICE! I was so in chock, couldnt even say anything back. I was just like, "maybe".

I am feeling so dysphoric lately, that I can't look at my body in the mirror bc I feel like breaking down on the spot. I feel so out of place like I'm not in my skin. I hate being trans, I don't want to be a confused "girl", I hate that I look better as a girl than a guy, I don't pass, I feel like I'm trying too hard to pass, and then I feel desperate for people to just look at me and see a boy, but I'm not a boy. My friend tries to say I am and she so so amazing but it doesn't work, I can't look in the mirror and see a boy without looking past my shoulders because my body ruins all the clothes and every month I'm reminded that I will never. Ever. Be a boy. I don't know if this is normal and I'm so confused and overstimulated all the time. I've told my friends, I've told my family but they don't call me a boy, I'm always the "girl best friend" or the "daughter" never the "son" never the just best friend. I don't even get mistaken as a boy, I'm never going to look like one unless I wear a pin or tell people, and even then I'll probably always be a girl, no matter what I do. At least that's how I feel.

I haven’t commented on these types of answers because -cough- telling people they are wrong is apparently starting drama when other CERTAIN users would not start drama at all, -cough- but trust me, I want to.

Questioning being trans doesn’t mean that we are a bit ‘boyish’, so we want to be trans, no. We are trans because we feel we weren’t born the right gender. We aren’t trans because we go to the gym, so we don’t ’fit the stereotype’, or we play Fortnite, we are trans because we aren’t the right gender.

I don’t care what the answers say, I am standing by my answer.

We don’t want you to prove us wrong, we want you to stand by us and accept us.

For anyone wondering, a trans-masc person is someone who was born a girl but identifies as a boy. I need to think of a good name for me but I always see the same ones and I’m thinking something more rare while at the same time keeping it a nice name like Orion or Basil or Emmit, something similar to those would be appreciated, I really wanna find the name that fits me :)
