Well my parents have informed me and are firm on their choice. They are not going to allow me continue doing cross country next year. I begged them but my mother just said that I js couldn't. Which really angers and saddens me. I love XC, its not js a sport but like it's apart of my life. I've met so many people and it's practically like a family. So in honor, I will say everything I will miss about xc.

- I will miss the summer practices with the guys and girls

-I will miss the AMAZING Gatorade coach makes after speed workouts

- I will miss the smell of grass in the morning during morning practices

-I will miss the feeling of getting new running shoes

-I will miss the feeling of getting a new pr

-I will miss the adventure runs and running in the woods

-I will miss the MEETS. And the huzz from other schools

-I will miss the snowcone trucks that are always at the XC meets

-I will miss the atmosphere, where even if the people aren't rooting for your school they will still cheer you on.

-I will miss the nice girls telling you 'you can do it' and telling my team they can do it

-I will miss screaming at my teammates as they make their last stretch towards the finish

-I will miss the accomplishment of finishing the race and feeling of getting home that saturday afternoon

-I will miss MY 8TH GRADE FRIENDS I MADE. if it weren't for xc I would've never met them and its so sad because next year I would've trained with them.

-I'm going to miss how funny and weird and goofy the boys were at practices

-im going to miss ice baths with the girls

-Im going to miss the polar plunge we would do

-I'm going to miss the XC banquet.

This is the end of an era.

BUT my father did tell me that if I really wanted to then I could go back in 11th. so we will see

and it sucks too because my friends are planning on doing a XC bucket list for this summer and next year's season:(
