So I "came out" to my mom a while ago.

Just my mom, not my Dad.

She did NOT take it well.

"I think you are mentally not okay, and we should fix that." were her EXACT words.

"You REALLY think you are part fox?(bro no I know I'm a human)" were also her EXACT words.

So she obviously doesn't support me being a therian, number one.

Number two, she doesn't support the LGBTQAI+ community, and when she found out about me being a demigirl/demiboy, she said things that made me actually shed tears.

But, the thing that's confusing me is,

ive been making masks for a while now, and we were out shopping yesterday. I asked for felt and pony beads(both of which my dad persuaded my mom to buy), and then she said this:

"Do you wanna see if they have mask bases?"

....

...

what.

So, do you or do you NOT support me??

Im genuinely SO puzzled rn.

I think it was because my dad was there.

She hasn't told my dad anything, though I think he suspects something is up.

I've been sharing my quadrobics journey with him, and he seems supportive of it, even though he doesn't know the actual meaning behind it.

I only called the exercise "quads" because I didn't want him to look up "quadrobics" on Google and see all those pictures of people doing them and then the AI overview is like, "QUADS ARE A THERIAN THING" and then he goes down a rabbit hole of "what is a therian?" "why is my kid a therian?" "how should I punish my kid for being a therian?" and so on.

Its just incredibly not fair :(

So this isn't anything bad. But like, any ideas of what I should do over the summer...? Anything I should study, watch, listen to, or read? Any ideas are welcome!! Like bro what if you genuinely are just tryna say something short again like bruh and it does that. also what's the point if moderation can just not accept it. make it more lenient so it can tell the difference between "spamming" and just actually tryna repeat something.
