The Roblox Outage of October 2021

Once upon a time, I played Roblox happily. Well, I decided to quit in July 2021. Those months went on and on, until I decided to start playing again in October 2021. Well, unfortunately, I chose the wrong time.

When I visited the Roblox website, I was shocked. There wasn’t any wonderful games in rows. There wasn’t any players, either. Instead, a huge maintenance screen took up the whole website. Still shocked, I remembered that the last time a huge maintenance screen was on the website was all the way in 2019. I haven’t even heard of Roblox back then!

Of course, I waited. And waited. But waiting 3 whole days was way too long for me. I just wanted to start playing! So I checked the official Roblox status website. And, obviously, it said that the platform was down, and that they were fixing the issue.

I read on a Reddit post that it was related to Adopt Me!, but on the status website, I learned that is was actually an internal issue. So, to take up my time, I read articles on the Roblox Wiki. I checked up on the status website.

Finally, I was able to play again on November 1, 2021. I was very, very relieved. Now, I could start playing again! From the Roblox Wiki, I learned that the site actually opened yesterday. However, I couldn’t play yesterday because I was busy.

To this day, I still play Roblox. And I hope that I won’t get interrupted with an outage that lasts 3 days ever again.

How did you do in the 2021-22 school year??

Yesterday (December 11th) was the one year anniversary of my absolute favorite song, Wilbur Soot's "Your New Boyfriend!" Love this song sooooo much, and I am so proud of Wilbur- this song really put him on the map!

I recently got my cat a scratching post that is shaped like a couch and to my surprise, she sits on it every day! However, she only uses the couch when it is right in front of the human couch! She likes to imitate me, I guess.

Anyways, I took a photo of her (and she looked really tired), so I added the caption "Me after getting home from school" because I like to get home and just be lazy after a long day of hard work!

My kitten Shadow was playing around outside and found a log next to a bush. He sat down on the log and started surveying the land. I was snapping pictures to send to my friends and caught him staring wide eyed at this bush :)

KidzSearch 2021 Funniest Pet Photo Contest

The Rules

Submit a funny picture of your pet!

- It must be an original picture you take yourself.

- The picture must not contain faces of people, names, logos, or brands.

- Any pet, including friends and family, can be entered (dogs, cats, fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and other furry animals).

The entry deadline is December 31st, 2021.

First Place Wins a $100 Amazon Gift card.

2nd and 3rd place entries will get gift cards worth $50 each.

You can also donate your award to the charity of your choice.

All entries must be posted in our 2021 Funniest Pet Photo Category Section. You must be a registered KidzTalk member to enter.

A short description explaining the photo is required. You may enter more than one picture.

Do not copy from other sources. We have many ways of checking and you will be disqualified from the entire competition if we find out that anything was plagiarized.

The winning entries will be announced on January 15th, 2022. Feedback from the KidzSearch community, as well as the final opinion of the KidzSearch judges will determine the winner.
