Just a vent about *amazing* parents

FYI I love love love and extra love my parents. But sometimes, they can be a bit much or over the top(I think). I don't mean to be an ungrateful child, but I SWEAR! SOMETIMES...

So, everyone probably knows about homeschooling, and about the friend who can't come over because of strange reasons their parents give them(tbh I have no clue if this a genuine stereotype or not). That would be me.

My parents are AMAZING! But they have issues with things that I personally don't get, or like I doooo but Ithinkyallareoverexaggerating. Example I cannot go outside. Unless my dad is home, then mayyybe.

They also have a very bad habit of forgetting things. IMPORTANT things. Heck, my mom has admitted that her memory isn't what it was. BUT THEY STILL DONT BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY YES, I DID REQUEST BrEaD. Or when they talk to me about, yeah sure you can watch stuff, we only grounded you from video games. Next day comes around and IMMEDIATELY FORGOTTEN. NO YOU CANT WATCH STUFF(nO I cAn't waTch bLeACh)

Whats great is that I hate with a passion asking for something twice. So if I really need to know something and I asked about it a few hours ago, I just stand there waiting.

Pov you are my mom and you forgot about my question:

Me:

My parents also have something against social media. I think I share it too, but not anywhere near as vehemently as my mom. Not even the other day she was talking to her online friends about it and she was basically screaming in rage at them about it.

My exact recation to kt when I first joined: wow, it's like reddit but for kids! I have never used reddit.

Yall know the meme where it's a parent, they tell you don't do this, and proceeds to do it? That's mine alot. Don't go online, you will get hacked. Don't use the internet, because you will get a virus. Don't talk to people online, all they do is lie. Not even 5 seconds later they are yelling at me for not using Google to find a bird feather. Or my mom blabs to her internet friends all about her daily life.

I understand that, BUT I DONT GET SOCIAL INTERACTION! LEMME GO ONLINE AND JUST CHILLLLLL!

Yeah I think I'm done for now lol.
