Why do we have pets?

Dogs have been kept as pets since the garden of eden. Of course wolves came before all dog breeds(most likely). Many people keep dogs as pets to this day(omg really! I had no idea). Many people prefer dogs over cats, since they don't rub all over you all the time. They lick your face to show affection(answer or comment whether you let your dog lick on your mouth). They are relatively inexpensive and, though still require work,are really loveable.

Cats have been kept as pets since the same time as dogs. They probably started as lions and gave birth to other species. Ancient Egypt kept cats as pets and even worshipped them. They are still very common pets. They show love by rubbing and cuddling all over a person. They also, like dogs, can lick your hand to love on you.

No one really knows how fish became pets.

Many believe pirates kept parrots. They didn't talk on their own like in the books or movies.

"That's weird Q...but it's cute" Mara says smiling. They swung hangs and laughed together. I was happy Mara was finally happy- even if Ryan was hurt. I stared at Steve. "So, what does it feel like...?" He frowns "It feels like there's a really annoying nugget bothering me about it." He tried to hide his smile. I was proud of him. I glance at Quinn who sticks her tongue out and yells "NUGGET!". Mara tugs her onto the bench with her. "They're cute together." Steve says. "Yeah. It's a little weird, we're best friends, and it's like I'm in 2nd place..." Hearing this, Steve laughed "You were always in second place, you short legged nugget"
