Someone ripped my best friend's dupatta off her head

Okay so a little background info my best friend is sikh, I've never had an issue with this because her religion has never mattered in our friendship. Me and her have been friends since I was little and anything unfortunate that happens to her makes me feel insanely hurt and she feels the same way with me.

We were sitting at the train station (technically a metro station but whatever) and eating because we couldn't go back to school (we were skipping) so we just ate and talked. We got up to leave because my mom had gotten off of work and we could go to my place until her parents got home. On the way, someone pulled her dupatta off her head and ran with it. We thankfully got it back and went about our day but it made us both very upset.

If you didn't know, Sikhs consider their hair never to be cut or tampered with, so they cover it. That's why she covers hers. It's insane that someone ripped it off in the middle of a metro station IN PUBLIC. doing that at all is just... insane. I don't think this person was from Brazil because when I confronted them in Portuguese they had NO clue what I was saying. At that point, I didn't even care and I snatched it from them and gave it back to my friend. I'm STILL mad about it and I probably always will be. i was resisting the urge to scream at them because that would only make it worse

rating countries that i've been to in my life

Brazil: VIVA O BRASIL My home country, love it here. You should 100% visit if you can. 10/10

America: California is hot (saying this like it's not 80 degrees here rn) but it was fun 8/10

El Salvador: I went here with my best friend and her dad, it was pretty fun. The food is good! 8/10

UAE: Visiting my mom's family, we couldn't go to Syria to see her dad and older brother (for obvious reasons) but we got to call them and we still had fun!

France: a different friend's family took me with them because I've never been to Europe. Lowkey smelled but it was still nice. Food was very good
