In another post I asked if I should start posting my story on here, and everyone said yes, so here it is in all its glory!!

____________________________________________________________________________________

Chapter 1- Neglection

_____________

Sachu and Hinaru weren’t given much to live with. Their parents were extremely abusive, and didn’t give a care in the world about their kids’ health. Stale bread was considered breakfast, lunch, and dinner for them. Their beds were the floor, but occasionally, they would be able to sleep next to the heater if they were “very good”. But even that wasn’t enough to nurture these boys. Sachu’s health was declining, and he had gotten incredibly ill. Hinaru was concerned, and begged his parents for medical help. But of course, their parents wouldn’t do anything about it. This went on until Hinaru and Sachu couldn’t take it anymore, and left forcefully.

__

“B-brother…” Sachu said in a raspy voice. Hinaru looked at the frail Sachu in his arms, and frowned.

“We will get you to a hospital soon, Sachu. Hang in tight. We need to find somewhere to stay.” Hinaru sauntered through the woods confidently, but he wasn’t a hundred percent sure their chance of finding shelter was high.

After half an hour of walking, Hinaru put Sachu down and sat on the leafy floor full of bug wildlife. Catching his breath Hinaru said

“I don’t think we’re going to find any shelter, Sachu…” He sighed. Rubbing his head, Hinaru laid down next to a tree stump. Sachu couldn’t grasp any words to respond. His mouth was dry, dehydrated, and sick. Talking would just hurt his throat. He felt helpless. Vulnerable. He felt as if he was just a weak little prey waiting for a predator to get him. In this case, it all depended on Hinaru. He was the older brother, which led Sachu as his responsibility. But no, this wasn’t a new thing, Sachu was always Hinaru’s responsibility. This wasn’t surprising, especially since their parents never even seemed to notice them. And the only time they did, it was either because Hinaru and Sachu were “bothering” them, or they would just snap at them for absolutely no reason. And after a while, Hinaru and Sachu were done with being abused. Although, going off into the woods by themselves wasn’t exactly the smartest.

__

20 minutes after the sun went down, Sachu’s stomach began to grumble. Both Hinaru and Sachu were laying on a pile of leaves, next to a very small fire Hinaru started with sticks. Sachu tried covering himself with the leaves to at least feel a hint of warmth, but
the pain in his stomach kept him awake. The gurgling sound woke up Hinaru, and stopped to look at Sachu. You could see his ribs and his collar bones. He desperately

needed food. So did Hinaru, but he ate a little bit more stale bread than him. Though stale bread wouldn’t be enough for both him and Sachu. So what would Hinaru do? He was only a 16 year old boy. Scraggly, to be more exact. They weren’t really provided with good hygiene. They were forced to poop and pee outside, and wash their hair with dish soap. Anything more than that would be considered heaven to Hinaru and Sachu. But practically everything that was more than what they were given would make them grateful. They were desperate.

__

Hinaru made up his mind. He would go on a quick trip to see if there was any fish in the lake, or any edible grubs. It wasn’t only for Sachu, but for him too. They were both starving, and Sachu couldn’t last another minute. Hinaru was everything Sachu ever had. Sachu treasured Hinaru so dearly, that he would do practically anything for him. Even when he’s at his weakest, he’d be willing to do anything Hinaru asked for. But it was Hinaru’s job to get the food Sachu severely needed, and that’s what he proceeded to do.

“Okay Sachu, I’m going to get us something to eat. Please stay here and don’t wander off, I don’t want to lose you. Do you understand?” Hinaru asked Sachu while looking him in the eyes.

All Sachu could do was shakily nod, and laid his little head back down. Hinaru ruffled Sachu’s hair, and ran off into the abyss. All Sachu could do was helplessly wait until his brother returned. That is… if he even did return…

_________________________________________________________________________________________

I'll post more if you guys want!! Lmk if you like it :D

*EH! EH! EH* As I turn off the alarm clock, I realize that it went off 15 minutes ago. "I'm late!" I screamed as I scrambled to put on my clothes. I stuff my backpack with the things I need. "Hm.. School computer... folders.. lunchbox...blah blah.. okay I'm good!" I said. I run downstairs and stuff the french toast into my mouth. "But honey, are you not thirsty?" Mom exclaims. My younger sister comes over and says "I got it!" While she throws the plastic bottle of orange juice at my head. "Owwwch!! Mom, are you gonna let her get away with that??" I say angrily. "Listen hon, we've been waiting for you for so long and I have to drive your sister to school!" She told me with a tired expression. Great. I have to use my bus pass to get to school. If you know anything about me, you'll know I hate public transportation. It's sketchy if you ask me. But hey! No choice do I? Soo I suck it up and rush to the bus stop. "Bye, mom! Bye, sis!" I yell while I go out the door. It's raining outside so I trench through the mud. Luckily I have my rainboots on so let's go. Oh, look! I made it to the bus stop. Well, this must be the perfect time to introduce myself. My name is Aisha Topper my sister's name is Kim. I won't reveal any other things about myself other than this story is going to take some turns so stay tuned!

Military Kid Ch.1 (B1)

Antonio Verez

In class 401, a young boy of 10, 5th grade, Mexican New Yorker Antonio Verez, was sitting with 5 other kids. Ms. Joyess, the English teacher, was reading out to everyone a play called Julius Caesar. Shakespeare had been a favorite of the teacher's.

Almost all of Tony's family had spoken only Spanish. The only bilingual ones were him, his parents, 2 of 4 of his uncles, and his siblings. His grandmother only knew how to speak Spanish. Sure, she could understand most English people, but otherwise, look for a translator.

His brothers were Victor, the second oldest, and Vincent, nicked Vinny for short. He had been in the military ever since Tony was 5. He was the best brother any kid could ask for. If Tony had an issue, "Vinny!" he'd call, and Vinny would come running.

But on that fateful day, everything changed. 15 year old Vinny was teaching Antonio how to play chess. Vinny had been a darn good player, so good, he even played for the city. He won lots of tournaments. Probably because he was one of the smartest people in the family. He was the most strategic, that was for sure. He was in the middle of telling Tony about the horse piece when there was a knock on the 2 family apartment door.

"I'll get it," said Vinny, hastily getting up from his seat. "I'll be back, don't sneak a checkmate!"

"I don't even know how to play yet!" Giggled Tony.

Tony didn't see what actually happened, but he did hear everything.

"Vincent Juan Verez?" Said an unknown man's voice. What does this person want now? Thought Tony, as he thought about all of the visits made by people from other apartments.

"...T-that's me?" Stuttered Vinny, his voice higher than usual. "I think you know what I'm here for, son," said the man, "After all, the situation is broadcasted all the time."

Tony gulped. What was the man talking about? Could this be about...

"But... But I can't go to Vietnam!" Shouted Vincent, who seemed not to care if anyone heard him. "I can't leave my family! They need me... If anything happens—"

"You must not understand the situation, son!" Said the man as loud as him. "This war isn't easy for any of us! I had to watch my son leave for it, and never saw him again! He went MIA!"

The man's voice quivered on the last sentence.

It was silent for a while.

Tony looked at his father, who was in the kitchen. His father had tears running down his face. He came over and sat down, taking Tony's hands and putting them up to his face.

The man spoke again, but this time, calmer. "It's hard to leave your family, but this is for the country. You're leaving tomorrow. We're sending you the equipment and your new uniform tonight." Tony heard footsteps fading away, then a door slowly creak until it shut.

Vinny came back into the room, looked at Tony and his father, then said, "I'm sorry dad. I'm sorry Tony."

"You have to do this. I never wanted this for you. I wanted to finish this so you wouldn't have to... But I won't let you die. I won't let God take you away from us, that's for sure."

Tears were still running down his face. Vinny seemed to mirror him.

Tony didn't understand why everyone was so sad about it. Vinny gave his father and brother a long-lasting hug Tony would never forget...

And then, the last dinner, the package, and the farewell party was the last time he had seen his brother.

Did you guys enjoy this? Sorry for not giving you any warning on posting a new story, but let me know what you think about it. Any suggestions? The next post will be the About of this story!

Love ya'll, bye!

Unnamed Story (feat. Jellyfishlover) part 2 still ch. 1

Part 2 yes.

This will be in a few parts. Jellyfishlover and I are writing a story with another one of our friends, and I thought I'd share it here! We're starting off with the first chapter, obviously.

Paisley ***********************

Paisley was raised in a rather toxic household. Dad always comes home drunk, her mom getting so mad at him, she would hit him. One night, her dad had come home late, blackout drunk. Paisley was still awake. She was still awake when she heard her mom. “What the heck is wrong with you, Grayson?! Do you realize that you have a wife?! You have kids, gosh dang it!” Paisley winced. It was then that her little sister, Andrea, tip-toed into Paisley’s room, holding her stuffed bear. Without saying a word, she climbed into her bed, and Paisley hugged her. Her poor sister, only 5 at the time, must’ve been terrified. Paisley remembered wishing a daisy could just grow out of her hand. Her sister loved daisies. Right at the thought, a daisy sprang out of Paisley’s hand. Magic. Her sister was delighted, and yet Paisley knew she couldn’t tell a soul. She didn’t know why or how she knew, but she just did.

Arlo ***********************

Arlo West was born on september 25th, 2005 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has an older sister named Ashley, and when he was 3, his mother gave birth to his little sister, Aria. He was bullied when he was younger because he was so skinny, so he began to work out more in hopes of getting a better body type. At one point, when he was 12, he was working out at the gym, and suddenly he felt a wave of wind flow over him. This was odd, since it was an indoor gym, but he thought nothing of it. But after some time, an older woman was walking towards him, covered her mouth, and ran off. She came back with a worker, who was just as surprised. Arlo was confused. What was so weird about someone working out at the gym? But then, the worker asked the woman, “how on earth are those weights... lifting themselves?” Arlo looked down at his feet, but he saw none. He immediately stopped lifting the weights and ran into the bathroom. He looked in the mirror, and sure enough, there was nothing there. But then, he felt the wave of air again, and bam, there he was. He was obviously very freaked out. He realized that whenever he felt a strong emotion, such as anxious or proud, he turned invisible. By the time he was 14, he had figured out how to control his power.. By this time, his family had moved to London, England, into a tiny 3-bedroom apartment. That’s when he met Adah. Adah was out shopping, and so was Arlo. They bumped into each other, and it was love at first sight. In fact, their 1-year anniversary is coming up next week.

Kinsley ***********************

Kinsley Smith has always been shy. She was born on September 8th, 2005, in Liverpool, England. She was an only child. She has always felt a certain… connection to animals. Her mother was also an animal fanatic, and they had many pets, including (but not limited to), 5 guinea pigs, 3 cats, 1 dog, and 2 parrots. When she was 10, she was wandering around outside when she heard some voices. Looking to investigate further, she crept behind some bushes and saw a family of deer munching on some leaves. She heard them muttering about how the leaves here tasted terrible, but one of them had to fuel up, because her child was pretty far away, when a twig snapped beneath her and the deer jumped up. Kinsley slowly stood up, and began to speak. Only not in the human language, but in the way deer spoke. “I am sorry for interrupting. Please, get back to what you are doing,” and with that, she hurried off. Magic, she thought, I must be magic. She was scared, and yet, also it filled her with a sense of happiness. It was odd. But, she thought, it feels good to break the rules. I am magic. This is great.

Vega ***********************

trigger warning, smoking, abuse, drinking, drugs

*Vega is not a good role model. Do not follow her examples.

10 year old Vega was sitting outside the club in LA. Again. While her mother was in the club partying, Vega was stuck sitting outside. She could smell the smoke from cigarettes as she sat outside. When she was little, it bothered her but by now she was used to it. Her father had died in a car accident after getting drunk 5 years ago. She didn’t miss him though, she hated him. She still had that scar on her leg, from that time her father threw a knife at her because he had just gotten fired at work. He threatened her badly if she told anyone, so she always wore pants, even on hot summer days.

Vega thought it was a normal thing for parents to leave their children outside of clubs while they were partying.

Her eye still hurt from yesterday when she got an F on her test but her mother was drunk, so she punched Vega in the eye. Vega didn’t know another lifestyle.

It started raining. Vega smiled as the smokey smell vanished a little and lightning hit the ground just a few miles away from her. She loved the rain. No more smoke, and lightning. Lightning was how she felt about her life. Vega thought that life was unfair, so she felt that lightning understood her.

She heard some people murmuring in the distance. Oh no! Had she not covered her eye with her hair good enough. Then she remembered. Her teacher had asked her to answer a math problem so she had to look up at the board to answer the question. Her teacher must have seen.

No! No! NO! Vega didn’t want to become a foster child. She wanted to live with her mom. After all every kid had bruises from their parents once in a while. Right? Why did child protective services have to come get her?

When she saw the people’s uniforms she ran inside the club. A man stopped her and asked, “Hey! Young lady, what do you think you're doing in here?!”

Vega ran faster.

“In there!” She heard a voice shout. Probably the child protective services.

“VEGA! WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE!” She heard her mother scream.

Someone caught her arm. She turned around to see a worker from child protective services. They took one look at her eye and gasped. They were going to take her away.

Right then she hated that club! She wanted to set it on fire. So bad. She was taken away to a foster home. That night, she dreamed of fire. When she woke up, she saw a newspaper in the living room of her foster parents. The headline said Gold Club on Fire. Had she done this? No?! But maybe… just maybe...

5 Years Later

Vega had lied about her age just to get into the club! It was her first time ever there! She had just escaped her social worker when her social worker had to use the restroom at a gas station while driving Vega to a new foster home.

Ever since that night when Vega was 10, she had dreamed of fire every night. It was kind of strange for her, but she was convinced she had started the fire…

First thing at the club, she showed them her fake I.D. that she had gotten from a smuggler. She was a bad girl now. After sitting in the hospital for 1 year due to severe lung cancer and heart problems, and getting droven from foster home to foster home she was ready to part-ay!

At the club, she was so popular. She was apparently attractive? She didn’t understand why, but didn’t mind either. Someone offered her a dress to change into, so she did.

A girl named Vikki came up to her.

“Want me to show you around?” she asked with a smile.

Vega loved this lifestyle. People were crowding around her everywhere. She was finally the cool girl she always wanted to be.

Over time, she and Vikki became close friends and she started to trust Vikki. She told Vikki her whole story.

One day Vikki offered her a pill.

“It will make you feel better,” Vikki had said “Cope with memories of the past.”

Vega took it. It made her feel so good. Over time she forgot about the past. Vikki and clubbing was her future. The only thing about the past she still remembered for some reason was the fire. She still dreamed of it every night.

She kept on taking the pills from Vikki. Now, this was what she called life. She just really wished she knew more about the fire...

One day, she and Vikki were walking in the park, when Vikki suddenly said, “You know, I could lend you some money to head to New York for some medical treatment. You’ve been getting a lot worse lately.” Vega considered it for a second, then nodded. The next week, she boarded a plane, waving good-bye to Vikki.

Adison Chapter.1 by Jellyfishlover

CRASH!!

My eyes burst open.'What the heck was that'!I look over the side of my bed, and there, on the floor, is a million pieces of glass, shattered everywhere.I look for the glass I filled with water before I went to sleep.

Then I notice, it's on the floor.'I must've knocked it over with my arm'.'Isn't 3:00 am ghost hour'?'Nope.Ghosts aren't real'.'Right'.'Ok Adalyn, go back to sleep'I tell myself as I start to drift off..."Do you believe in ghosts?", I ask my best friend, Keisha, at the lockers the following morning.

"Uh, no, duhh", She answers.I have math first. We have a test today, on something I did not study for.I get the answer for question one, and as I write, my pencil slowly starts inching out of my hand! Before I can stop it, the pencil flies out of my hand, aiming at Mr.Brewer!Thankfully, he dodges it, and the pencil gets lodged in the whiteboard before gently falling to the floor.Mr.Brewer sighs.

"Adalyn.Detention."People start to laugh.I feel messed up.I didn't throw that pencil, and nobody will make me believe I did.I'm usually home alone after school for at least an hour. When I get home I throw my backpack on the floor, and head for my laptop.I decide to do some research on ghosts.

Apparently, there are also spirits, fantoms, and demons. Then all of the sudden, the words you are being haunted appear on the screen in white as the rest of the screen turns black. Then, I feel like I'm being forced into ice cold water.I'm falling.Falling through darkness.Falling, and falling............

Nightmares Become Real- CHAPTER 1

Brett walked down the dark hallway in fright as she was about to face her fears. How did she get in this position? How did her mind become as black as night? Filled with fear she knew what she had to do..

43 days ago Brett had a normal life, a perfect caring family, and great friends. But one thing no one knew about was her dreadful nightmares. She wished they could stop, terrible nightmares flowing through her brain at night. Waking up in cold sweat and fear was not a life Brett had wanted. Days went on with these terrible nightmares, and Brett's paranoia had grown terribly. As soon as Brett got back from school, she'd lock herself in her own room. She didn't know who to trust, or what to do. Her mind was flowing with darkness. A month into the paranoia she went back home, ate nothing, and locked herself in her room, as usual. She fell asleep, as she was tired of worrying. This time when she fell asleep, she could control her nightmares. They were still nightmares, but she could walk in them, she could feel things. This had never happened to Brett before, so she was strongly confused. In this nightmare, she was trapped in a dark room...she couldn't get out, she was stuck. She couldn't move, she was brain dead. Outside of the nightmare she was cold sweating, panting, as if she had ran a mile.

The next morning she woke up and put on her clothes, as usual. When she was going downstairs she saw a dark object on the corner of her eye. She was freaked out and ran downstairs swiftly.

"Honey? Are you ok?" Asked Brett's mom. "Y-yes. Just got spooked, that's all." Brett said nervously. "Honey, if you need us to take you to a thera-" her mom said concerned. "No, no, no it's ok." Brett interrupted. "Well, ok.." Her mom said in a faded voice.

Starting Over- Chapter 1

6 Years Later

“Maria! Over here!” Charity called through the thick crowd of middle-school students. Her best friend rushed over and they embraced quickly.

“So, what did you do over the summer?” Maria asked as soon as she let go of Charity.

“Well, we did a lot of stuff. My favorite part was when my dad took me on a cruise for my birthday!”

“Oooh, lucky!” Maria giggled in pretend jealousy.

“So, what did you do?”

“Um… I’ll… tell you later,” Maria looked around anxiously for the ring of the bell, but it didn’t come. Charity gazed at her best friend with a quizzical look. The two girls stayed that way, just staring at each other uncomfortably, until Lila, one of Charity’s younger friends spoke to them.

“Hi, Charity,” She called.

“Oh! I didn’t see you there! You guys remember each other, right?” Her friends nodding enthusiastically and Maria seemed visibly less tense as they chatted about Lila’s summer vacation. Finally, the bell rang and they all headed off in different directions to class. Charity hurried into her first period class room, history, this year with Mrs. Pharaoh as its teacher.

“Good morning students,” the elderly yet authoritative woman greeted her pupils.

“Andrew,” Mrs. Pharaoh snapped at a misbehaving boy in the front row. “Kindly hand these notebooks out to the rest of the students.” Charity rolled her eyes at a tall girl she had met before, Valerie, who in turn smirked back playfully. Andrew eventually submitted and passed out the books, while most of the boys made mocking faces at him and laughed.

One of the few boys not making fun of him was John Stirrup. John had always had something strange about him, and Charity thought she might have a slight crush on him, although she knew she would never be able to tell him, considering the ever-present fact that her father, Professor Harold Leopold, was a strict evolutionist.

Mrs. Pharaoh made everyone introduce themselves before continuing with the lesson. The rest of the day passed without much event. When it was time for her to leave, Charity hopped on the bus and talked with her friends until it they arrived at Maria’s bus stop.

“So,” Charity asked her friend as she was departing, “What did you do this summer?”

Maria relied in a small voice, “I went to church,” Then she stepped onto the pavement outside, leaving Charity barely able to keep her jaw from going slack.

Fearless: Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Catalina squinted up at the night sky at the constellation of a prince. He was holding a flower gentally, and was bending down as if he was trying to gift his flower to an elegant princess . She squinted even more, trying to make out the shape of a young woman delighted to be with the gentleman. Then the door behind her fluttered open and a noise of a small step on a tiny wooden stair was heard by the stargazing lady.

“Catalina, te estás perdiendo tanto en el interior. Este es tu día, mi amor. ¡Celebrar!” Catalina, you are missing so much inside. This is your day,my love. Celebrate!

It was an invitation. Catalina ignored the deep voice of the man and closed her eyes, taking deep breaths frequently. Her hands gripped the bottom of her red dress as her hair was pushed by the cold, delicate breeze of Sparrow Island. Finally, she managed a squeak out of her mouth.

“No, quiero quedarme aquí.”

No, I want to stay here.

She had rejected what her father had said. He made a loud, vicious grumble and then sighed, remembering that his child was turning 12, and things were changing for her. For instance, she was becoming more stubborn and preferred to be alone outdoors staring at the sky. The frustrated man opened his mouth to utter something to encourage Catalina to come indoors with her mother, when a vociferous cry rang both of their ears.

Catalina and her father ran to the small, brown house only to find the young woman who was supposed to be waiting for them, gone. What was now left was Catalina’s knocked down birthday cake and a smashed window.

“¡Mama!” the worried child cried out with tears in her small eyes. “¡MAMA!” There was no sound, not even a pin drop. The father hugged his crying 12 year old, muttering the words, “El Mal ha venido otra vez.”

                                         The Evil have come again.

Catalina was clutching the man’s chest tightly with pain rushing through her heart. The only thing left was sorrow and anguish. And the loss of a dear mom and an island.

To be honest, I am not Spanish. But the story is about a Spanish island, so I had to use google translate. If you want to read the summary, go to

Silens I ("The Silent Trio") Chapter 16

Silens I Chapter 16

Faking it is only going to make the pain worse, as the silence overcomes whispers that are soon to be screams, and it seems to be impossible to realize that pain that sucks that soul of others, their weakness spreads out of their body as you glare In shock. But of course-

"Tom! Are you awake?" I slammed the leather bound book shut as a familiar voice entered my ears. Lucas was stumbling around for a bit till he heard the book close. His pale blue eyes looked into mine, but more like through mine almost.

In a way, it was unnerving. Snapping my own icy steel eyes to him, I let out an unwelcoming hiss. "What!?" I whisper-yelled. Lucas climbed onto my bed in the least graceful way imaginable. I was tempted to push him off seeing as he was just barely on, but I managed to hold back.

Sitting in front of me in with criss crossed legs, Lucas seemed to stare behind me. Gradually becoming more unsettled, I turned my head to face the wall. Seeing as there was nothing there, I glanced back at Lucas. His eyes were gazing at me now. I involuntarily glared at him, though I knew he wouldn't care.

"What are you doing here?" I made sure to pronounce the words very slowly, so he would be able to get it in his head. His lips began moving, though no words flowed from his mouth. As he laid there silent, I quirked up an eyebrow. I glanced over to my watch I always kept with me, as the arrows were pointing to 7:30. We had been sitting here for longer than I thought. Pushing Lucas and a few sheets off my bed, I heard a satisfying 'thump' as he tumbled down to the wooden floor. Grinning to myself, I headed to the washrooms to get ready for the day.

Dragging Lucas through the halls after seeing him bump into a few other students, we had arrived to our first class of the day, Transfiguration. Opening the door and heading inside, Lucas and I parted ways to get to our own seats. I could practically feel the holes that burned into my head as Mr. Glentonburg glared daggers at me.

I was obviously not his favorite student. He began "teaching" us about human to animal (or vice versa) transformations, though he said we would get into learning that when we were older. Lulumoon seemed particularly interested in this lesson, seeing as her head perked up when he mentioned it.

Mr. Glentonburg pulled something out from under his desk, which looked like a small cage with a white sheet covering it. Tearing the sheet off the cage, a small toad laid in it. I could hear a small 'Aw' come from behind me, though I paid no mind to it. Mr. Glentonburg had a wild grin plastered on his face as he reached in and pulled the unimpressive amphibian from its prison.

"See this class? Today you get to witness first hand how a transformation spell really looks like!" He made it sound like a big deal by lifting the toad a little higher than necessary. I almost rolled my eyes as he did the most basic transformation spell created. Some less experienced students 'oohed' and 'awed' a little, though my face remained emotionless through the entire process.

A saw a hand raise once Mr. Glentonburg turned the poor toad from a mutated rat back to it's normal self. No surprise was evident on my features as I saw it was Lulumoon. She was intently staring and paying close attention to the teacher ever since he announced the activity for the day. "Excuse me Mr. Glentonburg?" She asked as the teacher snapped his head in her direction. "Hmmm?" He questioned.

"Is it possible to turn a human into an animal, like a wolf?" He looked to be deep in thought for a split second before brightening his face and giving her a wide smile. "Well of course! Though, it is quite a complex spell that would take years to perfect, but if you truly wish to learn it than I would suggest starting out with something simple, when your older." She seemed disappointed at how long learning the spell would take, though I could care less. After explaining the magic behind the spell in a bit more depth, we were finally free to go as the door opened and students piled out. I looked to see what my next class was. Charms with Mr. Flitwick. Grabbing my bag with a few books peeking out from the top, I headed to the next class.

I saw Lucas enter the class five minutes before the expected time, as I was ten minutes early. Prof. Flitwick was scribbling unreadable words onto the board, as more students flooded from the door and into their seats. I could see a few familiar faces in the crowd, Lulumoon, and Lucas was obviously here.

Turning to face the torrent of young wizards and witches, a stern expression settled onto his aging features. In a monotone voice, he began the class. "Hello children. Today we will be learning about protection charms." My head drooped as he droned on about the most simplest of charms. I wasn't one to sleep or miss out during class, in fact, that was quite the opposite of what I would do.

I couldn't help the sudden tiredness that washed over me as he spoke in the most emotionless tone possible. I yanked my head up as soon as I could feel the cold of my desk come I contact with it. I refused to be a slacker. That was something I'm not and will never be.

I focused on the board as I made out the letters written in a neat, big, bold cursive. "CHARMS" It read. Deciding it would be best to participate in order to make sure I was going to stay active through he entire lesson, I slowly raised my hand. Turning his attention to me Prof. Flitwick drawled out some words.

"Would you like to participate Mr. Malfoy?" Nodding my head, I stood from my seat and made the small walk to the front of the room. "Here's an apple." he handed me the bright red fruit and continued, "Why don't you show us the Anti-theft charm? Try and prevent me from taking the apple away from your grasp." He finished with a professional tone.

I gripped the apple and mumbled a few words before handing it back to the Professor. Of course, he was unable to achieve it as he pulled his hand back. I walked towards my seat once again and waited for the class to continue. After showing us a few more examples of charms we'll be learning, class had ended.

Shuffling out of the room, I made my way to the Great Hall. I saw Lucas trailing behind me like a lost puppy, probably following the sound of my footsteps. Rolling my eyes and ignoring him, I had arrived at the great hall. I spotted Asia rather quickly, noting that she was only a few feet ahead of me.

I saw her take a few steps before standing directly in front of me. Her brow seemed to arch and her lips bent into a frown. "What!?" I snapped, much like I had with Lucas. "Where's Lucas?" she asked. "I don't know, probably stumbling around trying to find us." "Then why don't you help him?" She questioned rather upset.

"Ugh, he'll find us soon... maybe." She rolled her eyes and grasped my arm with a firm grip, as she starting to make me "help" her look for Lucas. Finally finding him in a group of assorted houses she dragged him back to where we originally were. "You okay, Lucas?" she asked concerned, and ignoring me.

"He's fine." I deadpanned. She glared at me in a threatening way as her golden eyes narrowed. "I wasn't asking you, Tom." She quickly disregarded me and went back to fretting over the perfectly fine Lucas. "I'm okay." He said quietly, "Just got a bit confused. I thought I was folearly Tom but it turned out to be another boy." Lucas explained shyly.

"Oh, well good. Tom should of helped you, though." Asia glanced at me with a disapproving look. I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't have time to babysit Lucas." I may have sounded a bit harsh, seeing Lucas's expression dampen for a couple seconds before he put on a meek smile. "O-oh, well how was your day Tom?" He asked me, trying to start a conversation.

"Uneventful." I answered. "Oh." He squeaked out. I couldn't stand his awkward stuttering. Huffing, I got up and left. "T-tom! W-where are you going?" I didn't answer as I simply rolled my eyes. I walked over to a shaded corner, where a girl happened to be standing. Noticing that she was Lulumoon, I speed walked out.

"Hey! Tom, was it?" I wanted to roll my eyes for the millionth time today. I groaned and turned to face her. "Yes?" Her eyes bore into my own, keeping eye contact the whole time she walked over to me. "Haven't seen you 'round much." she spoke. "I was in class." Ignoring my rather blunt statement, she continued as if I never said a word.

"We have Transfiguration together, right?" Raising a brow, I answered, "Yes?" Blue eyes lighting up, she looked excited. "Do you like that class?" I asked. "Well, we are learning some quite interesting things. Can you imagine turning into another species?" I involuntarily shuddered at the thought.

"I'd rather stay human." She looked surprised as she spoke once more, "Really? What if you could be your favorite animal? Wouldn't that be amazing?" I glanced at her weirdly before shrugging. "I guess." She sighed. "Imagine being a wolf, running freely, paws colliding with soft green grass, wouldn't that be spectacular?" Hearing the bell ring and excusing myself, I left the ravenette with her strange daydreams.

Just want to say, this is tomorrow on the train ride. Here is Gem's part:
https://www.kidzsearch.com/questions/36662/silens-i-the-silent-trio-chapter-15

It was time for the train ride, a rather long one to imagine. I pulled myself out of the thought, in my robes with a grin on. But of course, it was my birthday soon after all. "C'mon," I picked myself up from the firm seat I sat on, looking over to Lucas with his eyes glancing over to me. "What?!" I snapped, as started in wonder. He laid his pale eyes off to a wall, then to a refection in the mirror laid in out dorm. It was time. I packed all of my clothes up one by one quickly, as Lucas did slowly without looking at what he was doing.

"Sorry," I coldly apologized from me snapping at him, and he smiled in a happy reaction. "Don't be too sure of yourself," I grinned, holding a green sweat shirt in my sweaty palms. Soon enough, my clothes were all packed, but as expected, Lucas's wasn't. I hadn't a care in the world to help him with packing, he was barely done, after all. He sighed, feeling my reaction of stopping to pack. "Done already?" he questioned in a sad manner, wishing me not to go already.

"Yes," I replied, as he laid his head on his chest. "Co-could you help me?" I looked down and up, thinking about the offer given. "And what would you give me in return?" I asked, smiling lightly.

Lucas stuttered, "A-all my swe-sweets." "Good enough," I sighed, going across the room to help him. In minutes, which felt like seconds, I was done packing his clothes. "Okay then, lets go to the train," I sighed, as we skipped off in the Slytherin hall ways. We then made it to the loud, cheerful crowd of all the houses mixed together. I pushed around with Lucas to find Asia fiddling around with some Ravenclaws that seemed to annoy her. I saw Ace, too, but he didn't seem so happy. I rushed over to her, when we were about to board the train. I was awfully happy, a feeling I hadn't felt in a rather long while.

"Alright then," Prof. McGongal said, about to lead us off to the train, "have a great train ride!" she said enthusiastic to have finally gotten us off her chest. "Bye!" said a crowd of at least 100 children making loads of noises. We headed off to the train with Asia, while rest of the Ravenclaws said good bye to their teachers. I was rather happy to have them gone for at least a little while. We boarded the train, all made up in our robes. Asia sat with us in our Slytherin compartment.

So, my sister HELPED me with this chapter...………..*this betta be good* hope y'all enjoyed! I also realized that I made a mistake...so I had to edit it...sorry there wasn't a lot of the train scene. I forgot that the story took place in the train, and I realized I had no money to pay my sister to write a whole other thing, so I wrote as much as I could!

Silens I (“The Silent Trio”) Chapter 1:

Silens I Chapter 1

I stared wistfully out my window.

The sky was a pure blue. Paired with the cool September air, it was a perfect day. At least to me, you know. I have lots of preferences. Of course, I don't complain a lot, unless something is really not to my liking. I'm not spoiled, but I still have some reign in my life more or less.

My name is Asia. Pureblood, adopted by Luna Lovegood after my parents died. I'm 10 years old, but everyone says I look and act like a young teenager. I am more mature than lots of people my age, at least that's what people say. But people say a lot about me, so I don't really let it go to my head, so yeah.

Anyway, it's September 1st. Today I'm heading to the Hogwarts Express to begin my first year.

"Morning, Asia!" sings Mum, coming in with her odd glasses on. She seizes my luggage and pulls it up on my bed, which is a nice modest blue twin bed. My room is the most normal room in the house, though it does have its quirks. "You have everything ready for today?"

"Oh! Yes, I do, but..." I grinned apologetically, "I haven't packed my Diagon Alley stuff. Can you help me? I think my case is too small."

"Here," Mum said, and after a few minutes, she pulled out everything and beckoned me over. "I know you're not great at organizing, so think about it this way, this is how we Ravenclaws do things, just put it in like a puzzle."

I look down at the suitcase and smile. "Okay, thanks Mum."

"No problem, here's your wand- do not use it on the train, even though I know you know too many spells for your age- and books, and everything. Remember to change into your robes on the train!" Then she paused and smiled absently. "Here's a little gift, for your ride there."

I look up at her and she smiles again. Mum adopted me when I was 6 from an orpanage and she was immeaditely my mum. I love her and she loves me. We are really close.

"What is it?" I asked politely.

"Just a little accessory," she said, holding up a necklace. No, it is not radishes or Butterbeer corks. Thank gosh. It is a nice little blue raven. "For luck with getting into Ravenclaw!"

"You know I'm getting into Ravenclaw, Mum! There's no other house that would take me, haha," I said.

"And that's just fine. You'll do great. C'mon, let's get down to the station."

"Okay!"

Mum grins and once I get everything into the pack like a puzzle, she helps me haul it into our Volkswagen. We only use it every once in a while, but we will use it now that I'm going to Hogwarts so Mum can drive me to and fro from the station to home and vice versa. I then get in and she drives us to Kings Cross.

"Are you nervous?" she asked.

"No, not really..." I said. I really wasn't, not at all. I'm never nervous.

"Ha," Mum said, "that's good. I was nervous, my first day, you know." She looked absently out the window, doing that Luna thing. I smiled and we sat in silence. Not uncomfortable silence, but a sort of happy silence.

We drove up into Kings Cross station. We got out, and I hauled out my case and put it on a trolley. 9 3/4. I pulled my trolley around. Mum came up behind, and since I was still almost as short as a 10 year old, she could help me haul it onto the correct track so I push it into the wall. Once she helped me push it into the Hogwarts Express station, I glanced up at the Express.

"Isn't this cool?" I said quietly, and Mum smiled.

"Okay, we're here!" She said. Then she glanced around, her radish earnings swinging.

Two kids with blondish hair were standing around the Express, their robes already on. A tall woman with curly brown hair was standing there with them, smiling and laughing. I stared at them and then blinked, because one of them glanced at me.

Mum smiled and waved. The tall woman waved back, then she waved at me. I looked at her questionably, as the two kids, who were identical, leapt on the train.

"Whose that, Mum?"

"Hermione Granger," Mum said. "I'll tell you more about her later, okay?"

"Okay," I said, a little hesitant.

"Get on the train!" Mum said, laughing, "So you get a good spot and make some friends!"

"Okay Mum!" I said, and Mum helped me pull my trunk onboard, and then I ran down the hall to find an empty compartment. I couldn't find any, so I went into one on random. There sat one of the blond kids I had seen.

"Hi, can I come in?" I asked hesitantly.

"S-sure," said the boy, who looked about my age.

The train started it's whistle, and the rest of the kids leaped into the train.

"Who are you?" I asked the boy, a little quietly.

Kyuusei Chapter 1: Hedateru

Kyuusei Chapter 1: Hedateru

"My name is Yumeka Haruesaki, 15 years old. I am from the island of Japan, and I look forward to getting to know you all." I practiced those words in my head, over and over, then I said them out loud, the uncomfortable English words rolling around my mouth like sharp knives. The only words that felt natural was my own name, which was the only beacon of light.

"Honey! We're here," Mom said in Japanese, as the car rumbled to a halt. Cars were odd to me. Living in Toyko, we had used taxis a lot. The United States were so different from my own home.

"Mom!" I said in English, and she grinned, and wagged a finger at me.

"Yumeka, I can speak Japanese if I want." Mom was fluent in Japanese, obviously, but she was also adept at English. Which annoyed me. Please speak English when we are in America, Mom.

Oh! And it's not like we are never going back to Japan. Mom promised we would visit once or twice a year. We have grandparents there, anyway. The only reason we are stuck in America right now is because of stupid Dad. He got a job in computer programming. He's the normal Japanese man, wears suits every day and is the smartest person in his workplace, but he couldn't be smart or Japanese enough to say, "No. We are staying here in Japan, with the sakura trees and perfect life." NO. He said, "Yumeka! This will be a great experience! And I will be making lots more money. Maybe we can get you that dog you always wanted!"

Yeah. I wanted a dog, Dad, not a trip to America! We could've gotten one off the streets or something! But no, as soon as we got here, Dad got me a dog. A tiny puppy. He's really sweet but Mom hates him cuz he pees on everything. She keeps on telling me to train him. I'm trying, Mom! Don't bug me! Sheesh! It's already stressful enough, being here-

"HEY!" shouted someone. "KOREAN KID!"

I'm. Not. Korean. I get out of the car, my fists knotted up in my jacket.

It's a tall boy, maybe 17 or 18, his back to the school. Blond hair and blue eyes. The perfect American appearance, one that in Japan is unheard of. "Look who we have here. A cute little four-eyes. Maybe she can do our work. Right boys?" He grinned at his buddies, then stepped forward and shoved me into Mom's car. She saw this, got up, and strolled towards the bullies.

"Hey, get away from my daughter!"

"Oh. Whatcha gonna do about it, shortie?" the boy said in a manner that made my mom grind her teeth. She was short, but she also could hold her temper.

"Yumeka, if these boys do anything"- she glared at them-"to you, you tell me, got it?"

I stayed quiet. The bullies were muttering my name in a high pitched squeak. "Yumeka, Yumeka, Yumeka," they taunted.

"Yumeka, did you heard me?"

"Yes..." I said quietly, and the boys howled with laughter. Angered, I turned around, bringing my leg high and hitting the ringleader with my heel. He fell back, not hard, but with a slight thud. His mouth was bloody and I felt proud.

Not my mom.

"Yumeka!" she said. But then the bell rang. So, taking my arm in her tight little fist, she slowly marched me to the classroom. 1-7. She opened the door, gave me a kiss, and said quietly, "Honey, please. I don't want us to get in trouble. If you are gonna defend yourself, please, please, please, be careful. I do not wanna get mad at you. Okay?"

I nodded, the pride slowly going away.

She smiled.

"See you after school, then. Be safe, and don't use karate on everyone, please. Only on those who are looking to hurt you, okay?"

"Yes, Mom-sama."

She pulled me close and hugged me. "That's my little Yume-chan..." she said, then she let go. "Now, have fun and learn!"

I nodded and entered the room. The teacher came in and said, "Class, we have a new student, Yumeka. Please come here, Yumeka!" I approached the homeroom teacher, who was a stout man, and began my speech.

"My name is Yumeka Haruesaki, 15 years old. I am from the Island of Japan, and I look forward to getting to know you all." I said. I had practiced those words in my head, over and over, then I had said them out loud, the uncomfortable English words rolling around in my mouth like sharp knives.
_________________________________________________

America? Please listen to me.

I don't wanna be here, but I am.

Please accept me the way I am. Isn't that what you're here for?

Well, I hope I learn to accept you.

I hope we can be friends, and that you can be my home away from home.

Cuz one of these days, I wanna be able to say I have a friend.

A friend.
