Before I start, KS could you make a category for crush problems? It's a very common topic in "Personal".

I have decided maybe it's a good idea to tell my crush Stephanie (fake name) that I like her. She was born February 2014, I was born April 2014. If I tell her, it would be through a note/letter. School is opening on January 6th, so I have some time to work out what I want to say. It would be something like-

"Dear Stephanie,

I like you romantically. Would you like to be my girlfriend?"

Very direct, no room for ambiguity.

I would appreciate ANY advice at all.

There is a girl in my class. Let's call her Stephanie (obviously a fake name.) We're both 11, but she's two months older than me. So I joined the school I'm currently in at the start of this year. Ever since then, we've had some fights but nothing too big. Our last fight was in September. Then in very late October/early November I told her a really big secret of mine and she kept it. That made me trust her. I have trouble making friends but by that point I considered her my friend.

BUT.

Ever since I was quite a bit younger, I've had a problem. Whenever I'm good friends with a girl, sometimes I start to like them. Yeah, like NOT platonically... You might be surprised but the first instance of this was in 2023 when I was nine. I had a ginormous crush on my then-best-friend and it continued all the way until mid-2024, for a FULL YEAR. And when I joined this school, I kind-of liked my female friend, then I kind-of liked another one, then I kind-of like Stephanie now. When I see her I get... happy. And I enjoy being around her. But I criticize myself for this because I keep trying to tell myself "Boys and girls can be friends platonically!" And I have (and have had) a lot of good platonic female friends, but the fact that [we get good friends=I like her] makes me feel mad at myself. Also, I've seen that best-friends to lovers is an overused trope, so I keep trying to convince myself "no, I don't like her! We're just friends!" but I really don't even know. Obviously I know this is going nowhere — there is no way on Earth my parents or the school will allow us to date. So I guess I'm just here, left with confusing adolescent feelings. Oh well...

So there’s this boy that I sat by in the first day of school. And he acted interested in me that day. And one of my friends that was his friends with him, said that he was talking about a girl that looks like me who he liked. And he would flirt with me a lot, like checking me out in the hallways and talking to me in class. But then he got another girlfriend. Is this just a typical middle school boy? Or did I scare him off? I did get his number from that friend. And when I talked to him, he seems like he always had an excuse to go. And he is the quarterback of the school football team! Well, that's it. School's officially done, and I can't do nothing about it. Days before school ended, I kept on telling myself I wouldn't cry, but of course, I did :-D I'll especially miss my two best friends, one who doesn't have a KT account, and one who does. (I can bet you know who it is ) My best friend who doesn't have a KT account has a 90% chance of going to the school I'm going to in August, so that lightens things up for me. On the other hand, @THEREALMRMIYAGI is enrolling into the school half of my class is going to, and I'll definitely miss her the most. It'll probably take me forever to get over the fact that we won't be seeing each other at school anymore, and our moments together will forever be a lasting memory in our heads. ohmygawshwhydoesthelastpartsoundlikeasonglyric

Anyways, aside from the despair of leaving my school, there's still more to come in the future. That's what I keep reminding myself because I don't want to start ugly crying in public :-D I just gots to be tuffs Alright, you might be wondering why the title doesn't have to do anything with what I've been saying these past few couple of minutes. Well, we've reached that point when I tell you. So, I finally told my crush, but it definitely went differently from how I envisioned it to go. I was really nervous at that point, so instead of going into an elaborate story about how I liked him and following what I could've possibly said to him from that one post I made, I just said 'I like you'. Still really straightforward, but I wish I could've added a few more words to it or maybe just have worded it better. Can't change the past though. Anyways, after I said that, he literally said 'huh' and I practically ran out the classroom because it had gotten just too embarrassing at that moment. So, since I kinda ran out (I came back in for my backpack), @THREALMRMIYAGI (i'm still trying to find out a nickname for your user ;-;) ended up telling him the fill in what I should've told him, but I was sorta a chicken again :-(

When she came back to tell me that she told him, she also said all he responded with was 'ok'. Erm.... I guess it was just, 'ok'. I didn't really spend time crying over it though, because I know soon I'll find someone else. My mom tried to cheer me up either way by saying ok was just his way of finding it hard to say 'I like you too', but that's very unlikely. I kinda expected him to not like me, but like I said, I'll have many more crushes in the future (which i'll make posts about teehee )

But yeah, that's what happened. At least I told him. Although, maybe because he said 'huh' after I told him, he actually found out because of my best friend. Eh, I don't want to get wrapped up in a crush paradox.

In fact, that crush was totally last year. (i still kinda like him D-:)

I'm in 7th grade (I'm a female so you don't have to ask) and there's this cute boy in 8th grade that's been staring at me, and I'm scared to ask if he likes me or not. I am in Choir and recently we had our Veterans Day Program we had to dress nicely so I wore a dark red and black dress this hard to describe pattern. We were waiting for our time to sing and as we were sitting on the risers their is extra space on the top riser so I was allowed to sit comfortably. I was scanning the bleachers and noticed him staring at the choir I'm pretty sure at me, we hadn't sang yet so I was thinking "OMG!!!" "Does he have a crush on me?" all of that stuff. We actually lock eyes quite a lot but he was straight up staring wasn't even trying to hide that he was staring at me. One of the girls in my choir she is kinda my friend but anyway she's his ex and she talked to me and she is entirely fine with it. And we were talking about how I would ask him if he has a crush on me. So I'm thinking about her showing me his locker and me putting a not on his locker tomorrow. I’m a 12yr old girl and me and my crush are both in 7th grade but I don’t know if he likes me. I literally started having a crush on him on the second day of school. He used to talk to me at recess when I barely knew him and say one short thing, and when he sees me alone sometimes he’ll come up to me. Recently he has done stuff like running ahead of me to open the door, waving to me before he leaves school, and he is near the exact same spot I’m in every. single. day. At recess. He picked me as one of the first people for his team in PE. He also wrote a story for one of our classes and afterwards gave it to me for 4 reasons:

1. Why not?

2. He didn’t want it

3. He didn’t want to throw it away

and

4. I was the closest person to him (I wasn’t, there were three other people surrounding him, plus he has a lot of friends so he could have given it to one of them)

We also have gotten into a weird staring moment two times and it’s really intense

And I’m pretty sure he knows I like him but he hasn’t said anything about it.

to start with my crush name is isaac and i known him 4 2 yrs and i had a crush on him since the dya u met him in 3rd grade lile i saw those eyes and smile and i fell! Ok so I I go to a gym and swim meet class thing IDK what to call it.

And there every tuesday kids 9 - 13 go there. every wednesday kids over 13 go.

I have a crush that used to go there. (she got too old) Her name is Cecilia. She is 14

Hey! So I have a crush and I want to talk to him sooo bad but idk how I have liked him since the ending of May last year I was in 6th grade now I'm in 7th and I am not sure if these are signs of him liking me but I'll name the things he has done.

1. Last year he kept sitting behind me in class even when his friends weren't even at that table

2. He smirked at me 2 days ago while I was at my locker when me and my friend kept laughing at something that happened with my friend that my friend told me
