The usage of approval rating lead to a confusing disaster so I am calling a snap second round.

These were the results of the first round. DefinitelyCanadian pledged to transfer his votes to Elo if there was a plurality. And there was a plurality. 50% to win.

Retallying for the third round was a bit of a hassle but boom, here it is.

EloquentRacer92 of the Epic Kool Kidz Klub has won, with 52.4% of the popular vote.

And that brings us to the next issue; the Senate. The Senate of Cardboardia, the micronation's unicameral legislature, needs six seats for a majority. The largest party in the new Senate - the DPL - has three.

It is possible that cross bench Senators will back the DPL - which would mean six seats in a coalition government. That would be the necessary amount for a majority. As of now, Prime Minister HurricaneMitch1998M is in a tough spot.
