6 (easy!) ways to reduce your carbon foot print! Doyourpart

I got this from wwf! These are EASY ways to reduce your carbon footprint. Some might need to talk with parents about! Sorry I haven't done a do your part in awhile!

1.Dial it down. Moving your thermostat down just two degrees in winter and up two degrees in summer could save about 2,000 pounds of carbon dioxide per year.

2. Turn it off. Artificial lighting accounts for 44 percent of electricity use in office buildings. Make it a habit to turn off the lights when you're leaving any room for 15 minutes or more. Same goes for electronics; switch off power strips and unplug electrical devices when you're not using them.

3. Use cold water. Using cold water can save up to 80 percent of the energy required to wash clothes. Choosing a low setting on the washing machine will also help save water.

4. Switch to e-billing. In the United States, paper products make up the largest percentage of municipal solid waste, and hard copy bills alone generate almost 2 million tons of CO2. Save paper by signing up for e-billing.

5. Buy local. In North America, fruits and vegetables travel an average of 1,500 miles before reaching your plate. Buy fresh, local food to eliminate the long distances traveled and preserve nutrients and flavor.

6. Recycle. You can recycle plastic bottles, paper, electronics and batteries, among other items. Learn how to properly dispose of or recycle these products and reduce consumer waste.

How to make an original cupcake sandwich:

Although this seems really complicated, all you need is a cupcake and a knife or your bare hands. Its very easy, amazingly delicious, and is more awesome with sprinkles!

Cut the cake of the cupcake in half hamburger way.

Now, take the bottom half of the cupcake, the half that doesn't have the icing, and put it on top of the icing.

There you have it! Your amazing cupcake sandwich! You can serve this at bday parties or any kind of party and you can give the original cupcake way a twist. best with sprinkles any other toppings that are fit for cupcakes. Just make sure you put them on the icing before you put the cake on top. And make sure you don't eat the wrapper!

You can also do this with other types of deserts, as it shows in this picture. This person used mini colorful waffles and put the icing on the waffle:

Easy Section

1) You see a dog about to get run over by a car. What do you do? A or B

B)Do nothing and watch and laugh as the car runs over the dog.

2) You are eating your dinner at home when you hear a weird noise. What is it? You walk into the kitchen and see the stove on fire! What do you do?

Medium Part

1) You see a kid just hurt his knee on the field at recess and no one is paying attention to him. He seems REALLY hurt. What do you do?

A) Run over to him and ask if he is ok. He grunts out a "No" and you carry him to the nurses office. The ambulance comes because he fractured his knee bone.

B) You ignore him and keep on with your own business.

2) Your mom is on an important phone meeting. You are waiting for her to finish when you see your little brother running across the street. What do you do?

A) You poke her silently and she sees and runs outside to save him. She still has her business deal.

B) You yell,"MOM MOM BRYAN IS ON THE STREET!!!!!" She sees and saves him but she lost her business deal.

Hard Part

1) If you could choose between eating a tiny sandwich(about 1 half inch) a day or a raw egg a day what would you eat?

2) You hear your grandma calling for help because she got really sick, what do you do?

A) Call 911.

B) Tell your parents and they go downstairs and call 911.
