I went fishing yesterday!

we went on a big boat in the pacific ocean, I caught 3 fish. The first one was a weird fish that was orange, it was too small though so we had to let it live :(. the second one was a small calico bass, it was also too small but I loved it cuz it was so cute

the third one was a Ocean Whitefish. A big one, we will probably have it for dinner tonight :)

FYI, Yule is 12 days long. It starts December 21 and ends January 1.

Like why is it so close??? I can’t wait, lol.

My family celebrates Christmas and I do-ish. My family (mom, dad and brothers) don’t celebrate the Christian Christmas, so it’s more of just giving gifts, and family time.

That’s why I said I also sorta also celebrate it because Yule is also about that! ( if you minus the other stuff)

Also some of y’all might be like “what is Yule” or sm. So here is a bref explanation.

Yule is a holiday celebrated by some pagans, but mostly Wiccans.

It is a 12 day long celebration that honors the re-birth of the horned god, (aka; Father sky, or the sun god, he has a few names, lol)

Yule, also celebrates the longer daylight hours to come.

Some burn a Yule log, some decorate a tree, and some come up with their own things to do!.

Yule, is also about family time, and making memories!

Also this would be my first time celebrating Yule, so please forgive me if I left anything out.

What are y’all going to do for the holidays?

I’m going to try and come up with a gift Ideas for my family. Also I can’t wait till we get the stockings out!!1! I LOVE makeing mini gifts for my brothers and putting them in the stockings!.

Enough about that-

NOW, about the fish fry! (Fry: fish baby’s)

Two of my fish (adult) died, about a week ago. (Other from stress or are water isn’t high enough quality for them.) we suspect one of them gave birth to fish fry.

And the reason I only spotted the fry last night was because the fry were so small that I didn’t spot them at a first.

They could also be the batta’s fry, but most likely they are not.

We suspect they are either guppy’s or platys. I have 3 fry in total. Also before any of y’all freak out. Yes, we did separate the Batta fish from the fry.

Also they look about a week old, and no, they don’t have color yet. They are see through-

So resently my fish, named Toilet fish. (Long story) died and we barred him yesterday… and then we (me and my brothers) had going up to my nana’s for the day and night so my parents could go dancing.

And my grandparents offered to give some of their fish to me, since they are too old to be taking care of such a big tank.

I got a red beta fish and a tomato colored fish, with a black tail. And a guppy that is yellow with a black tail.

They are all so cute!

Awhile back when I was younger, I had a black guppy, and the same kind of tomato colored fish (Idk what the type of fish it is. Sorry) and I think I’m honer of my old tomato fish (named tomato fish- ). And call my new tomato colored fish, big tomato-

And Idk what to call my yellow and black guppy. Do y’all have any suggestions?

I’m going to ask my family what to name the beta fish. But I thought you guys could come up with a name for my guppy!

Why do we have pets?

Dogs have been kept as pets since the garden of eden. Of course wolves came before all dog breeds(most likely). Many people keep dogs as pets to this day(omg really! I had no idea). Many people prefer dogs over cats, since they don't rub all over you all the time. They lick your face to show affection(answer or comment whether you let your dog lick on your mouth). They are relatively inexpensive and, though still require work,are really loveable.

Cats have been kept as pets since the same time as dogs. They probably started as lions and gave birth to other species. Ancient Egypt kept cats as pets and even worshipped them. They are still very common pets. They show love by rubbing and cuddling all over a person. They also, like dogs, can lick your hand to love on you.

No one really knows how fish became pets.

Many believe pirates kept parrots. They didn't talk on their own like in the books or movies.

These are why we have pets
