Mention Notifier Issue

We just made an update to the mentions system. Some users, like @House of Gryffindor! that had spaces in their name or certain symbols in them were not getting notifications. This should fix the problem. Please let us know if you see a notification but are not getting alerts, assuming you have a theme that supports them.

I went longboarding up and down a hill today. About 67 times. To get all my thoughts outloud and into thin air.

Basically,

I know bad things happen to all of us. I know that drama happens to all of us. I know fighting happens to all of us. But one thing i do know is:

WE ARE ALL BASICALLY 13 YEAR OLDS! We are not five year olds fighting over a toy truck or who ate the last lollipop. We are all fighting about lying,drama,blame,life,lgbtq,lists 40000,00000 other things-

But we just NEED TO WORK IT OUT. Another thing about 5 year olds-They WORK IT THE FREAK OUT. We need to do that too! We can't just blah blah fight forever. IT IS BASICALLY A WAR ON KIDZTALK RIGHT NOW.

We can't all just fight fight fight. To be honest, i can't remember a time we were a happy community for the last few years.

Sure i've caused some drama and maybe came off as attention seeker sometimes but i try so freaking hard to be nice to everyone. ITS EXHAUSTING AND MISERABLE. We all need to work it out. I don't care what you did. Who you are. What you lied about. what you stole, who you yelled at, what names you called people, WE ARE KT FAMILY AND NEED TO MAKE THE HECK UP ALREADY.

I know i'll get truckloads of hate for this post "omgg nooo chelsea stop it im so mad at ash omllll". Don't care. Also don't care. This is a side of me you will not see often AT ALL. Why? blah blah im the sweet kid. Don't care anymore. You know what? ASH might be right. To be honest if i did something like this you would all just blah forgive blah. I DONT WANT THAT. Maybe instead of goo goo ga gaing like little stupid 5 year old babies we all grow up and start acting our age and not our shoe size. Ok?

I do not care what your message back is. I do not care what you say. I'm sick of drama. One rude comment and everybody is like "GOOD FOR YOU" Too much of that. Shut about it. I'm so done. I want this website to be out my my stupid life already. You guys used to be a safe space. Now i know no matter what i say i'll get hate- there it is you guys. That stupid little word again. HATE Guess what guys? HATE IS PART OF LIFE! WE FIGHT WE CRY WE SCREAM. Yknow what ya'll might as well go back to daycare at this rate.

STOP throwing others under the bus and telling lies to make yourself look innocent stares into one users soul

STOP being sarcastic in a mean way

STOP running away from something instead of facing it.

STOP hiding things from people and making it obvious you know something that they don't.

STOP accusing people

STOP judging people.

I'm not even president of kidztalk. I just want everything to STOP.

I’m sorry we haven’t told you much. Chels is really upset. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry. I regret not letting this pass over and make a big deal. I’m sorry that people are starting to hate other people.
This is the second drama I’ve ignited. I feel so terrible.
I felt that this needed attention. That assh needed to be called out. But not in this way.
I hope you guys still like me. I hope I still have the same friends. (For the exception of losing one close one.)
For anyone who missed out on the drama:
I scanned Ash’s hair reveals and stuff and found out they were stolen off Pinterest. I told my friends (who are on KT and my email) about it and they told us what else they found. That ash was being mean to Chels. I raged. I commented on Ash’s post like: “hMMm I wonder which Pinterest user you stole this from..” long story short, KT exploded.
But my deepest apologies go to Elo, Toe and Nobi.
Elo: thank you for calling me out when I’m mean. Even though I dismiss it when I’m mad, I take it to heart. It makes me realize, “maybe I’m being the bad guy here.”

Toe: I’m just overall sorry. I don’t even know what to say but, you helped me a lot. You are pretty honest which helps. You do annoy me often with those quips about therians and young kids finding out their sexuality. But whatever. Like I said, “not everyone’s made out of sunshine and rainbows.” Technically, at first I said Ash isn’t, but elo said no one is, so I revised it :3
Nobi: even though you frustrate me more than before now, I really love you/p. You were my first friend. I’ll never forget that.
You helped me through a lot.

and lastly, Ash. I do not forgive you whatsoever, because I honestly feel you had it coming, but i am sorry for publicizing everything. Again; I don’t forgive you and probably never will, (because im stubborn as heck) but I won’t forget your old kindness to me.

I hope we can work through this. I hope no one hates me. I hope we can be our old community. Built on love, peace and kindness.
To start, stop saying rude things about therians and young LGBTQ kids. It doesn’t help.
Nobi, as president, I feel you must be more responsible about that.
