I didn’t fully understand what they were until I watched a few more videos. I didn’t think I’d ever meet one but today I met two. It was really weird tho because I know what a therian is and I identify as one and I’m 13. I met a 10 year old who said she was a therian but then said that they were “like furries” so that is a red flag but then proceeded to tell me that she “chose cat” so she isn’t real. The there was a 12 year old who said “I’m a therian@ so I asked her what her theriotypes are so she said “I like all of the animals” so I have a feeling that neither of them were actually therians but also just didn’t understand what a therian actually is. You can have both too! <br>there is another type of therian which (I’m pretty sure) they believe that their theriothopy is neurotypical. So instead of them being a therian by having a past life or soul of an animal. They believe that&nbsp;<strong>their</strong>&nbsp;theriothopy is caused from something mental. (I hope I used the terminology correctly)&nbsp;</p> <p>qaudrobics and gear do&nbsp;<strong>not</strong>&nbsp;make make someone a therian.</p> <p>and we&nbsp;know&nbsp;we are human. So no, we <strong>do not</strong>&nbsp;think we are animals. Some of us also expressed ourselves/interest by drawing our or others (with permission ofc) fursonas!&nbsp;</p> <p>what I’m trying to say is we just have an interest in anthropomorphic animals. We&nbsp;do <strong>not</strong>&nbsp;think we are animals, act like animals ect.&nbsp;</p> <p>it is simply a hobby. (Aka quadrobics)&nbsp;</p> <p>someone who does quadrobics (a quadrobatist) <br>is&nbsp;<strong>not</strong>&nbsp;a therian or a furry because they do quads. Nor do they think they are animals.&nbsp;</p> <p>quadrobic is a sport and an (almost) full body exercise. So it take a lot of work, energy and practice to get good at them.</p> <p>now, don’t let me discourage you! Quadrobic is hard yes, and if you’re not careful you can get hurt. But that doesn’t mean that it isn’t a valid thing!&nbsp;</p> <p>you should be proud if your able to do them. And if you can’t yet that is okay!
