are hot dogs a sandwich

it has two sides of bread and some type of meat in the middle so basically a sandwich because a sandwich also has two sides with something in the middle, and my question is, if a peanut butter and jelly sandwich is a sandwich then why is a hot dog not considered a sandwich

A hot dog is a sandwich I don't care what you say.

I will be covering all of the debate points that makes a hot dog a sandwich

The bread is connected. so what a sub is connected and its like the most famous image of a sandwich when you think of a sandwich you think of a sub

Hot dog meat is not something you would put in a sand witch. Yay it is like sure it ain't common to put literal hotdogs in your sandwich but what about a meatball sub like that's beef and a hot dog is beef

That's all I can think of right now but tell me another reason and I will absolutely destroy it
