So, Youtube kids. Youtube Kids is basically Youtube for children.

Now this is gonna be half serious opinion essay and half storytime, because this is both serious and a true story, because I released this is gonna make you pay attention (Unlike my other more serious posts)

So, I was 6 years old and I was watching youtube. I was watching Diver+ who is a Spanish youtuber (I grew up in Venezuela, and I didn't learn English until my immigration to the USA 2 years later) and I got an ad for one of these Youtube Videos. Basically it was Chase and Sky from Paw Patrol who were eating candy, but Chase didn't brush his teeth so now monsters are in his teeth and he had to get a vaccine in his tooth

Ever since then, I didn't use Youtube until I was 10, and I brushed my teeth 5 times a day for 3 months, and I am gonna talk about Youtube Kids.

Youtube Kids is basically just Youtube for kids, In Youtube there are very little filters for inappropiate content (I do have a swear word blocker, so it bleeps everytime there is a swear word, I am Autistic and even thought I am allowed to watch things with swears, it triggers me) And this is a bad problem for parents, so Youtube kids was born. Youtube Kids has content like cartoons, educational videos and songs.

However, there are some problems. in 2016, there was a problem involving Elsagate content. Elsagate referes to violent or general inappropiate content involving kids characters, usually Elsa (from Frozen) and Spider man. The Elsagate problem was so huge that in the UK, there was a whole DAY of News about this.

The 2nd problem is Older Kids. Youtube Kids is for all kids. Even thought it is a rule that you have to over 13 to have a youtube account (Unless with a parental permission, I have my own Youtube account since 2020) The Youtube Kids section for older kids is appropiate, but a lot of the content is way too babyish (I've seen COCOMELON for the 9 to 12 year olds)

also, about Elsagate, it still excists but it uses diferent characters that are popular with kids nowadays such as Amazing Digital Circius, Skibidi toilet and Poppy Playtime

So if you have a little sibling or siblings you babysit (I babysit 5 of cousins The oldest is 11 and the youngest is 3) be extremely careful, instead use something like Netflix Kids or Disney+ for better entertaiment)

What I am about to say happens everyday

Hey so I have already watch 13 nidal and sailsh videos and i can not stop. So the other day I was at my best friends house for a sleepover and she said "dang girl all you are talking and listening to is nidal and sailsh. So i said yeah i know then the next day i got home and spent my whole day just watching that and listening to it. Then she came over to my house and i was bored. So at of nowhere i just started mumbling Nidals song "the truth about my feelings" and i couldn't stop then i got told to shut up or leave. So I left because i was not going to stop.

I need help on how to stop this the song IS SO CATCHY THOUGH

Aww hon its going to be alright. Insecurities aren't fun, but theyre a part of life. Now im not going to say to get over them, or to just stop them, because you cant. The one thing that truly saddens me most in the world is seeing people hating on themselves and feeling disappointed about their insecurities. It mentally and emotionally breaks me, which is why im writing these to try and help others.

Just know that I love you so so much, and every part of you is perfect in my eyes. You are so strong, so brave, and so amazingly beautiful. I can't even tell you how proud I am of you, keep it up lovebug :)
