What are you doing for it . I honestly don't know what we are doing. I suppose we are just winging it. Well actually we were going to my cousins for the fourth of July ,but than they got sick.

Independence Day 101

Independence day lands on July 4th to celebrate the birthday of the United States.

It celebrates the signing of the declaration of independence. Also for many Americans it celebrates freedom . ( Fun Fact ) The Revolutionary war didn't end in 1776 it actually ended in1783 . ) people often Celebrate it with fireworks and a cookout..

I also refuse to call independence day the fourth of July. Although sometimes I might say it out of habit

What is your favorite part of the Declaration of Independence?

I have 2 favorites:

1. We hold these truths to be self evident, that all men are created equal, that they and are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

2. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our Sacred Honor.
