WW2 was the obvious, 'Good versus Bad' war. But many were not.<br /> <br /> Let me make my (maybe stupid) point across.<br /> <br /> Post 9/11, America invaded Afghanistan in the same year. 20 long years later, the Taliban still governs Afghanistan. <br /> <br /> In Vietnam, America went in to 'stop communism'. Years later, Vietnam is still Communist.<br /> <br /> Also, in 2003 as part of GWOT, America (+the coalition) went to Iraq. Apparently Saddam Hussein had WMDs. Turns out he had none. So many lives gone for no WMDs found.<br /> <br /> The only people who gained from these wars are gun companies, bureaucrats, and old politicians in the Senate, in the Lower House, and whatever western parliament is there.<br /> <br /> The message of the story; A country's armed forces should be used for it's defense.
