May fifth is Adele. Guys Adele's greatest accomplishment isn't her weight loss it's that ton of Grammys in her back pocket. Ik ya'll weren't saying that but some people are.

On an east side of the woods there was a small kingdom named Creopia. A beautiful princess ruled it, and everybody loved her, but she loved nobody. One day, her father said had a surprise for her, so she followed him outside. When they got outside, the king stopped and said, "He is your surprise! I want you to marry him!" The princess was so angry, she couldn't move. She didn't want to marry anybody. Finally the princess answer through her clenched teeth, "I. Don't. want. To. Marry. HIM." The king looked shocked at her and said, "You two are going to be married in a week." Then he walked away. "My father doesn't know what is best for me!!!" She screamed and then she ran away into the woods. The boy she was supposed to marry did want to marry her, but she didn't want to marry him. As the princess ran farther and farther into the woods, she was realizing, she was getting lost and she had to get back home! The princess tried for hours and hours through the dark woods, but she couldn't even see a bit of light from her kingdom. All she wanted right now to be in her castle, safe, warm, and have someone there who cares about her. In the woods it was dark, cold, and nobody was here to protect her or care about her. Suddenly, she came across a little wood shed. It wasn't very big, she thought. But I am going in anyway! When she walked in, she leaned against the wooden wall and gasped with relief to at least find some shelter. Suddenly, she realized all the stuff that was around her. "Who's stuff is this?" She asked herself. She didn't take time to think who's it was and touch all of the things in the room beside her. Suddenly, a burst of magic came from one of them. It was a love potion so that she could love people. She finally made her way back to her kingdom and the king said, "You don't marry him if you don't want to." But the princess said, "Oh, but I want to! I really, really do!" And so in a weeks time, the princess and the boy got married and they all lived happily together!!

Hi Kidzsearchers! I have seen a lot of posts about short story contests and I decided to start my own! Anyone can enter their original 3,000 word or less story until my deadline of May 15! You can post your entry in Other with the question as AbsoluteOwl's Contest Entry. There is no prize, except for bragging rights and knowing that your an AMAZING writer. I will be awarding a first, second, and third place, along with four honorable mentions. I hope to see lots of entries and many authors! Good Luck!
