I believe that animals should be able to live free from use in medical research, hunting, agriculture, and other industries that benefit humans. People mainly argue whether we should protect animals or serve humanity's needs.

According to Gallup 39% of Americans think animal research immoral. Gallup found fewer people support medical testing on animals, buying and wearing clothing made of animal fur, and cloning animals in 2020 than they did in previous years.

I believe that animals deserve similar or equal rights as human beings, free from captivity abuse and neglect. Also the animal rights movement believes it's immoral to use them for labor and research. This also extends to protecting animal habitats from displacement or destruction for purposes like dredging rivers, trawling, agriculture, and urbanization.

Opponents of animal rights do not typically advocate for cruel or unnecessary animal abuse, but they believe animals are not equal to humans and that it is morally justified to use animals to benefit human society. Most prominently, they believe that animal research can lead to medical discoveries and improved quality of life for humans, such as testing antibodies on animals to fight against Covid-19. They also argue that animals do not think or feel emotions such as pain, fear, or loneliness and that is just a load of *BEEP*

Most people fall somewhere between these two viewpoints. For example, many people support animal rights, but wear fur or leather clothes. Others are repulsed by animal abuse, but still support using animals to advance medical research.

All and all change my mind.

Racism (Change My Mind)

I know everyone has different opinions okay. Why is it only racist if you say something rude to a black person but if you call a white person a cracker it's not I mean *BLEEP* y'all that ain't right. Why are people saying slavery is racist if you are talking about "Down South" I mean yeah it is racist for another race to do that but what about in the other countries remeber "Irish Slaves" yeah. I swear people be talking and teaching some crazy "BLEEP* on earth. Why are kids taught that slavery is the only racist thing I know you think kids cant handle "The Truth". I mean when I was in 5th grade I had this exact conversation with her:

Teacher: The dogs (black people) were happy they yipped and barked Slavery is not racist racism is just a lie any questions

Me:Umm Africans were beat and overworked and were treated like dogs I find it wrong that you call them dogs also racism is some-

Teacher: Listen here mutt your going to shut okay you are a mutt and I dont know what your poop colored father is telling but it ain't true

Oh god was I mad I litterly sat there and cried also that day I went home early and got suspended for "UNECASARY Abuse To Superiors" so just try to change my mind

The Rebel Flag (Changed My Mind)

I want to know what you guys think of the rebel ("confederate") flag. If you don't want to say your opinions with your name attached, click what you personally think it stands for in the poll below. Personally, I say Independence, state rights, and southern heritage because that is what I was raised to know it stands for. My mom's side of the family comes from states around Tennessee, and if I asked any of them what the "confederate" flag stands for, they would answer exactly that. The flag is not racist, and even in the civil war where it was used, it was not racist. It has only become racist today because of biased media, and misinformative classes teaching people the civil war was about slavery, when that wasn't even close. The civil war was about differing opinions, yes, among them was the opinion about slavery, but that does not in any way mean the civil war started just because of that one opinion, it was multiple different things. And the "confederate" flag stood for the south, it stood for state rights, it stood for independence and as far as I'm concerned, it still does. And that opinion will never change. You could give me one trillion links to a trillion websites that say the flag is racist, and I will never believe you unless you show me something you have seen with your own eyes, not a photoshopped picture, something you have heard with your own ears, not a paraphrased rumor, something you walked to with your own feet, not read about someone else doing all of those things in a school textbook, that can 100% prove me wrong and say that the flag is and began as a racist flag.

Change My Mind - Judging a Group

I believe you cannot judge a group for the actions of the few. Meaning, if one or two people do something bad, and they happen to be in some type of group (religion, race, LGBTQIA+, gender, ect) than you cannot judge that entire group. A lot of groups have been judged that way. For example, here are a few that are still in effect now -

•Christians are judged by a lot of people regarding unexception of LGBTQIA (even though personally most Christian people I have met are really excepting of people).

•A lot of people, including people I actually know, judge all Muslims for 9/11. (Including my own mother, but not me.)

•A lot of darker-toned people have been judged as- well, Do I really need to explain that one?

•Girls are still judged as being weaker than guys because of quite a few people and movies.

•And many, many more.

I disagree with all of these. A group as large as these shouldn't be steriotyped as something for the action of a few people.

So I am a Libertarian Conservative. That would be be Libertarian on Social on issues and Conservative on Economic issues. I hope to start a change my mind series where we respectively try to change each other's mind on particular issues. So, hopefully this works out. The first topic will be Gun Control. Here's my opinion;

Something we have learned from history is that governments can go tyrannical. Keeping that in mind, I believe a responsible law abiding citizen should have the right to own and carry a gun, for their protection from others and possible government tyranny. I believe that there should be more safety precautions, but not a ban. And I welcome you to try to change my mind.

(Also try not to get gruesome or anything so KidzSearch doesn't take it down I want to hear everyone's opinion.

Lucid dreamers please respond..

I've been doing some thinking.. and lucid dreams are basically when you have control of your dreams and what takes place within them. I have seen a quote on the internet that said, "if you dream about someone, it means they miss you/want to see you". (I put the slash there to indicate that I saw two forms of the same quote, although they share the same overall context and meaning) so, does that mean that you can lucid dream about someone in order to subconsciously make them miss you or want to see you? It's a very difficult and controversial topic; this I know. I just want to hear your opinions and for you so-called "expert lucid dreamers" that have tried to help me with my dream interpretation in the past to step forward and provide your input.
