Hi I'm eleven and I got my period write before my eleventh birthday and I don't get cramps but I do gymnastics and if we are doing hollow holds or crunches then I get the worst cramps that make me want too cry also when I'm in the beginning of my period and the clumps are coming out it hurts so much. Hello Girls! Today I've got a tip that will definitely help! Boys please don't highlight the black.

Ok this tip is really for Girls with heavy Periods.

Ok so there's this thing that I take that helps with the heaviness of Periods It is called Shepherds Purse. Its just an herbal thingy. Now if you get the stuff you'll probably want to take it for in orange juice. And keep some chocolate milk to wash it down. It tastes horrible but it helps with heavy Periods. And my mom thinks its helping with other things too.

Ok so this is just my opinion but DON'T use the 50% recycled plastic pads! They feel like sand paper!

I have a little story on asking why I haven't had my period yet. Let me give u some background info...

I am a 13 year old girl in the 8th grade. I have been "in puberty" since I was 10 in the 5th grade. I have had breast buds and they r still growing (tho still not big lol), have private area hair (loads...), and plenty of discharge for over 2 years.

I have done some research. They say that puberty starts when u get breast buds and ur period will start 6 months to a year after you see discharge. They also say that ur period normally comes around the same age as ur mom. My mom was 13 when she had her's, so I guess I still have time for that. My birthday is a little over 4 months away.

I have had discharge for SOOOOO long. I wear liners in my underwear cuz it gets so bad. But I have waited for a long time and still no blood has popped up. I am so confused Abt that NGL.

Ok so pls just give me the best answer possible and try to stay away from "EvErY bOdY iS dIfFeReNt" kinda responses cuz I really want real ones.

Today at school, the left side of my stomach was hurting like -- really bad. I thought, it's nothing. Just a normal ache you know.

Then , i felt like some blood flowing out. Either blood, or just my feelings. Still it was hurting.

I felt like some more blood fell out. I was really scared. Then after class, my best friend even said - what's that red thing behind your dress? I was really so scared and told her what happened.

She said, it's ok. She even had her first period and it felt like it.

Is it actually ok?

I came home and saw, it's actually a bit of real blood. Was it my period? What should I do know?

So I have my period and im going through puberty. Ya. norm. BUT I skipped like 3 mons on my period and it was like 3 1/2 late. I was kinda surprised abt that... ok anyway my body is changing and uhm.. my mom is like, "u dnt need a bra blah blah blah" EXCUSE ME, IF I DNT WEAR ONE, I HAVE LITTERAL ANT HILLS STICKING OUT OF MY SHIRT!!!

The boys dnt get clues of girls periods. Once, was taking a pad out of my bag and a boy, lets call him K, sees me. He giggles all so childish and looks back at his book. Im so embarrassed but I just go on with my day. Like the next day, K goes up to a table of girls and says, "Adi has smthg in her bag" and im just like, "They're girls idc if u tell them." and the girls EMEDIETLY knew what I was talking abt. Like, boys can be so immature. Its puberty. Ugh.

•if you started puberty, these are some good tips for you gorls!•

-bring a purse with 2-3 pads, along with a jacket to easily tie around your waist when you’re going to the nurse if you start.

-don’t freak out if you start and there is either a ton of bl00d or if you skip a month or two, its okay!! But if you skip more than two months, see a doctor asap- something may be wrong- such as ur thyroid flunking out.

-wear dark colored pants! It will help if you start in class because it will make the bl00d not show as much as light colored pants.

-when you get acne (you will no matter what sorry -u-), get tools to pop zits and pimples. If you do it carefully, and leave no fragments of the seeds, it will not stay there or damage the pores. There are also some for blackheads! You can tell if acne is ready by seeing a white tip.

-get oil-free moisturizer and face wash duos. I got mine from Nutrogena, and it helps prevent break-outs and takes around a month to start killing acne!

-its ok if you get hair.. •ehem• there- it’s completely normal dont think ur an alien -.- you will get some in ur armpits too, its okay!

-start getting easy-to-wear sports bras, you will star to— develop-

-its completely normal to start growing slight facial hair. I myself have one strand of facial hair growing. Thats the normal amount! You also will be getting smol •moostashes•! I have one too! Just shave or the more painful way, pluck- the same goes with unibrows!

-start getting slightly larger sizes of everything you will start growing.

-start with thin pads when you star for the first time. Then, after an hour, and you know u splotched a lil, change the pad to a slightly bulkier pad.

-change pads every hour or so!

-when you get pads, get ones that are specifically designed for sleeping. U can wear them at day and night!

-and lastly, use wings to pads! They halp SO MUCH. They keep the pad in place!

Ok so... Girls this is my second step of "Supportgirl"project. My first step was helping girls who had periods with supplying them period equipment when in need. I see many girls asking for help for puberty Qs in KT. they mostly say "No boys allowed" so I didn't peak in. as a brother of 3 sisters, my advices helped my sisters so much as they told be back. So if you want any help with 'em , you can ask me for help if you prefer. You can get actual help without dirty comments. BTW I'm a 14 year old boy. Most of my male friends treat period as if it's "repulsive," and a lot of my female friends get embarrassed and anxious and feel bad about having their period.I was bothered by other guys' attitude.I actually had started carrying tampons and pads in my bag because my girl friends often had to improvise with amusing ways to stop themselves from leaking into their uniforms. I decided to call out the other boys at my school on social groups.I added a tag #realmensupportwomen#.On my post, I challenged other guys to follow what I did.

What I added-

"TO EVERY BOY THAT FOLLOWS ME AND CALLS HIMSELF A MAN OR SIMPLY A GOOD HUMAN BEING.

Petition for all of us to start bringing a couple pads or tampons to school to help our girl friends. If you have a girlfriend or are friends with a girl, u know that they don't always have tampons or pads with them, or that sometimes their period just hits them without notice and have a bit of a problem finding one. We should support them with this, after all, we don't have to go trough all they they do because of menstruation, so it's just logical that we help them. You should already know to give them your sweater and not question when they wrap it around their waist. So let's step it up a notch and help them out. IF YOU HAVE ANY RESPECT FOR YOUR MOTHER, YOUR GIRLFRIEND, OR JUST WOMEN IN GENERAL I EXPECT FOR YOU TO FOLLOW ME. To every girl that follows me- You are completely welcomed to ask me for a pad at any time without receiving a negative response or a dirty look. I has many likes for it. although I had some negative comments, many supported for my period help crusade.By this I wanted a way of making a difference. I know I can't end bigger problems like sexism, racism, homophobia, and others, even though I want to, so for now, I'll attempt to end the taboo that guys associate menstruation with.
