Please do extensive research, think you did a good amount? Fact check and cross reference EVERYTHING multiple times.

At this age, a lot is going on, and your brain and body is constantly changing and evolving, you personality is always changing; it’s like the ocean, it’s always changing in little waves, to giant waves after life changing events.

And almost everyone acts differently around different groups of people at different circumstances. It’s normal, it doesn’t mean that you are multiple people—just more comfortable around some people then others.

Self discovery is necessary to evolve and discover who you are! To figure what you are, and what you aren’t.

It’s best to keep a journal about things like these, where online grooming and cometary doesn’t exist. Because people can and WILL tell you what is, and isnt. They will tell you what they think is happening, and what you should be acting like, and might accidentally—or purposefully—make your subconscious start thinking in ways to fit in with their agenda and idea of what’s going on.

So please,

Keep it to yourself for a while, and if you have questions do research carefully, and draw youre own conclusions.

I get it’s tempting to start acting like them because you see a loving community—a welcoming community, but you shouldn’t rush into them

It’s not healthy, and you might really regret what you said, or did, or acted like.

We have done—and said many things we regret on here

We were an active contributor to the Therian Drama, and almost cost us one of the greatest friendships we have ever had (ily /p Eva)

All because back then we couldn’t understand that other people can have opposing views and opinions about therians—and they can! And we are still friends to many of them to this day :3

Be patient, do research, and take time to discover yourself.

And DONT: start posting about it online without taking the time to ask yourself a lot of questions first, and dont rush into a community before being a spectator to draw you own conclusions.

And lastly

Stay safe out there. Consult with an actual expert on psychology—whether you have the actual disorder version of being a plural system or not—instead of throwing questions out on the internet for them to be answered with subjective information and biases—it helps to talk to actually professionals about what’s going on.

So I realised I didn’t really introduce myself, I told yall the basics—but since I brought this alt acc to life(Ezra,formerly Dan, made this acc and used it once) I’d figure I’d make an myself an intro post!

Especially since idk how long ima be in front.

So I’m Mabel! I’m an alter of the starry night subsystem. I’m non-human and ‘ageless’ meaning I don’t conform to any age, but I do often act like a teenager out of habit :3. I have two other headmates in this subsystem; penny(15) and ervil(5-6)

My role is a protecter, and I often front when others feel threatened or uncomfortable.(or I just wanna front, lol)

I’m also a fictional introject(semi-sensitive topic for me bc basically every OC we’ve ever made has trauma ToT)

My pronouns are they/it but u can just use they/them if u feel uncomfortable using it/its!

I like music, I have a grey moral code, and are not afraid to punch idiots (I won’t tho, do to this not being my body IRL -n-)

I’m also very silly and like to joke around >:3

I’m more on the carefree side of headmates in both the system and subsystem.(if I’m being honest, most are depressed :/)

P.s. I think ima let someone front in a day or two, I don’t wanna be here rn—but not my headmates in the starry night subsystem; the most likely scenario Is I’ll just call up one of the first alters discovered in the system(that hasn’t fronted in a while) and hope they are alr with taking over while I rest. Being silly/upbeat isnt something this body is used to, it’s exhausting to maintain ToT(hopefully that will change in the future)

P.s.s. If we talk abt/rant/vent abt being a system, it’s not cuz we’re are trying to be a pick me or shove it in ur face; it’s because we’ve had no one to talk abt this (exept our therapist, but most don’t like her and won’t trust her with all the chaos going on) so it’s just all been kept up in our minds, never being released into words.

It will die down in a few days once we use up all the sweat relief of being able to talk abt this

Intro post!! (Basic info on plurality and DID/OSDD)

I wrote this at 6:00 am so forgive me for badly explain anything ToT

So I forgot to do an intro post ToT

So I’ll start with the basic turms and stuff so yall don’t get lost in this black hole of definitions

Plurality: this is a general term for anyone that is plural (meaning they have multiple distinct personalities)

DID: dissociative identity disorder; jt used to be called multiple personality disorder. DID is the name of one of the diagnosis a plural system could get, there’s also there like OSDD and UDD.

Although not all plural systems want to or can get a diagnosis, we personally are working on getting a diagnosis—but idk how long it will take lol.

Alters/headmates: the other personality’s in ones system

System: what the group of alter/headmates are called

Subsystem: when an alter in a system is also plural and has their own system (yes this can be very complex)

Front/fronting: when an alter or alters control the body

Roles: not all headmates have roles, but there are different types like; protecter, host, cohost, little,caretaker,ect

Host: the person that fronts the most

Core: not all systems have these, but this is basically the ‘OG’ personality as we call it.

Singlet: someone who is not plural

In-system relationship /r: when headmates date eachother (it’s gets lonely ToT)

Different alter types(idk what to call this)

Non-human: a nonhuman later

Fictive: an alters who’s source Is from a fictional world

Fictional introject: an OC that become an alter

Introject: a IRL person that became an alter(for us it’s rare, we only have one)

Different types of systems:

Traumagenic: their plurality is caused by trauma

Endogenic: not caused by trauma

(P.s. this is a very controversial topic that we do not wish to argue abt,so plz refrain from arguing with us abt this one. Questions are welcome tho)

so we are either a traumatic or traumaendo system with abt 70 ppl (ToT) and we also have a subsystem with 3 people.

I will obviously not be naming everyone ToT, you will just have to get to know us when we front, and some ppl have gone dormant (meaning they won’t front for a while) so no pressure in remembering all our names (we can’t even do that, most of usjust know the names of those who have been spoken fondly of, has fronted recently, or are friends with us)

What Dissociative Disorder are (A guide to Plurality and What it is)

The question that a lot of people may wonder is, why did I even write this? Well, I noticed that a lot of people don't know what dissociative disorders are, this is not only a learning to Kidztalk users but also help for projects based around disorders and medical work.

What Does Dissociative Mean? What Does it Do to Someone?

Dissociative means when someone has an out of body experience, like you're watching yourself from an 3rd person view, you're basically having a disconnection from your own mind. This is set off by traumatic events that will usually leave gaps in the victim's memory, causing them to forget things they already learned, and experiences leading up to the event to cause said trauma. This makes learning things in school difficult even if it's something they already knew before. Someone with dissociative disorders usually have spilt identities or personalities that are, most of the time, referred to as alters or headmates

What Are the Types?

There are 4 types known of this disorder, yes, there are other disorders that are related to these. If you have a question about these types or would like to know more just comment.

DID (dissociative identity disorder)
DPDR (derealization disorder)
OSDD (other specified dissociative disorder)
UDD (unspecified dissociative disorder)

Basic Terms of Dissociative Disorders

System - Used to refer to the persons identities as a whole.

Singlet - Someone who does not have a dissociative disorder.

Alter/Headmate - Used to refer to personalities.

Endogenic - A system who is caused by no act of trauma, endogenic systems do not exist as you need some kind of trauma to actually be a system.

Tramuagenic - A system who is caused by trauma.

So we were kinda shocked that there was nothing about plurality posted here? Like there's scraps but not full posts! But we'll get to that in a bit!!!

So, to start off, I'm Vesper! I'm our system's host (which means I front the most) and I'm actually dating Buri!! I'm genderfluid and am usually ok with they/them prns! I'm an alterhuman with a long... long list of kins, I'll still put a couple of my kins in here though! Some thing may be not mentioned out of just not wanting to clutter the post. feel free to ask!

About plurality, these terms might show up, feel free to ask for more clarification as long as you're polite:

Plurality = When multiple people share a body (non-human headmates may exist, some may not identify as people)

System/Collective/etc. = The group of people(/non-people) sharing the body)

Headmate = A member of a system

Traumagenic = Caused by trauma

Endogenic = Not caused by trauma

Traumaendo = Caused by trauma and other things

Disordered = DID, OSDD/DDNOS, P-DID, UDD, and any disorder that can cause plurality.

Non-Disordered = Any kind of plurality not related to a disorder.

Singlet = Someone who is not plural

in-sys relationships /r = when headmates date eachother.

A lot of these terms can overlap and stuff so feel free to ask.
