Desi republic senate election: primary

The Senate election for the Cardboardian province of the Desi Republic is holding elections soon. Today is the primary. Any candidate who files past 12:00 AM will not be counted.

Minecoder380 is the sole candidate, as of now, and has the endorsement of the DPL

If you already won a senate seat, you can't declare. If you lost one tho, you can run. Hampter is the exception as he lost Bongletown and won Mitchtopia.

I really hate both of the Australian 'mainstream' political parties (Labor [left], Liberals [right])

I really just don't like them.

They keep talking about housing, the economy, and the Liberals are really and totally alarmist on '''youth crime''' - which is completely false, unless you live in West Melbourne or either Townsville, Cairns or Brisbane QLD. Or Alice Springs and Darwin. At most, the real '''youth crime''' is dumb magistrates blindly bailing out teenage criminals. Just tweak the bail laws and done and dusted.

Now speaking of the Libs, it seems like as if they're MAGAifying and becoming more socially conservative. Not really appreciative of it.

Now another thing I'd like to touch on is this really stupid thing - 'Online Safety Act 2024' or whatever it's called. They act like by restricting social media to ages 16 and above, they're making a 'positive impact on youth mental health' or something.

At the end of the day, the same thing that is negatively impacting 'youth mental health' is still on there, and besides, am I going to care of what some random idiot on YouTube said to the point it literally troubles me? No, and that extends to most teenagers. Besides, rules are meant to be broken + can't trust any big tech company with your personal info.

Just really authoritarian.

Blah blah yada yada.
