Hey everyone!! How are you all?

So context Australia has two pride months! The international one in June and the national one in December.

So yesterday was my cities pride parade, and omg it was soo fun! My friend was walking in the parade so it was great seeing them towards the end. I got a picture with some fursuiters, there were some therians in the parade aswell. Someone gave me a pride flag as well!

Next year my friend said they would bring me to the parade to walk with them!

hehehe I'm so excited! This is my first pride month that I'm out for :3 (as in like to my immediate family)

Idk if I said it, but I did come out come out to my mom, she's okay with it for the most part. she doesn't want me to think about it a ton and doesn't want me to make it my whole personality (I won't)! for my dad, he's stated his opinions many times and my mom hasn't so that's why I didn't say much to him!

Even if you're in the closet and can't celebrate, that's okay! only make sure you can come out if it's safe, and if you want to!

To celebrate, should I make pride Kandi cuffs? I think I'll try making one for omnisexual and girlflux, then one for my friend!

8-9: starts to question being bi

10: comes out as bi

10 2/3: does more research and comes out as pan

10 7/8: does MORE research and comes out as omni

8-9: thinking I'm crazy

9-10: putting it off and telling myself I'm a girl

As I was saying, Aromantic is when someone feels little to no ROMANTIC attraction, and Asexual is similar. Asexual is when someone feels little to no S*XUAL attraction. When someone identifies as both, they are Aroace. Now, this doesn't mean that Asexual and/or Aromantic people can't date, because they can! It just means that it sort of limits their attraction in a way.

How i knew my gender/sexuality..

Hi! Here I just wanted to share how I figured out I was genderfluid, omnisexual, and aromantic.

Genderfluid: Experiencing gender "fluidity"; not having one fixed gender.

I knew I was gender fluid when I started feeling masculine/wanting to present masc one day but wanting to be more fem the next. I also wanted my chest one day but not the next. I often cried because I literally could not make myself look masculine in any way. I was also incredibly jealous of boys, with they're naturally flat chests. I wanted to be like them. I was also totally okay with being called a boy/girl/anything.

Aromantic: Feeling little to no romantic attraction.

My parents always told me that as a kid I never wanted to hug/kiss my relatives. Even when I was as young as 2 years old I just hated anything even remotely romantic/touchy.

I also have a memory of myself in 3rd grade (8-9 years old), when I had a friend over. We were talking about crushes and she asked me if I had any, as she listed out all of hers. Even as a 9 year old, this made me uncomfortable and I told her the truth: I didn't have any.

I am in 6th grade (end of 6th grade/heading into 7th) and I have only ever had one real "crush" but they only lasted about 3 months before I got over them. I also hate the idea of being in a relationship and would prefer to be by myself. The thought of even remotely dating/being interested in someone makes me literally gag.

Omnisexual: Liking all genders but gender being a factor in their attraction.

My sexuality journey went like this:

Im straight! Wait, no that girl is really hot..No im not lesbian am i? Okay, yes im lesbian. But that guy is also really handsome...but ew, dating is disgusting and relationships make me gag... Maybe im Pan then. I don't really care about gender...or do i? Okay, maybe im omni. Yes, definitely omni.

As an omni person I can say that I prefer to be with no-men rather than men, but that's not to say I wouldn't date a man. I am a romantic tho, so finding love isn't exactly easy, and falling in love is even more difficult. You may be asking, "But aren't Pansexual and Omnisexual the same?". well, yes and no. Pansexual people identify as " genderblind", meaning they don't care what gender someone is and are blind to it. Omni people, on the other hand, notice gender but simply do not care.

I’ve posted something like this before very briefly, and I don’t think I need advice anymore as much as I need conformation.

I think I like my gender, so, girls. I also know that I am attracted to guys. This “liking girls” thing started around the beginning of last year when I started to really understand the lbgtq+ community (half my friends were part of it. Someone literally started a gay club.) After I thought about it, I realized I liked the idea of being with a girl and have had a dream or two of this. I’ve never actually had a first kiss. This leads me to a sort of problem, that I’m only 12. So technically I don’t think I can decide yet. I still have a long time to sort things out.

Term-wise, I used to believe I was bi. I went back and forth from bi to straight to lesbian and back to bi. Like I said, I think I like both main genders.

BUT THEN I DISCOVERED PANSEXUALITY.

AND THATS WHEN I BLOSSOMED.

Reasons why I think I am possibly pansexual:

-I have attraction to girls and boys

-I have liked trans women

-I never focus to much on genders rather than the personalities and looks

-I like the flag (lol doesn’t really do anything)

-I took like 5 different sexuality tests. 3 said I was pan, one was bi, and somehow I got asexual

So this might also mean I could possibly be.. uh.. I can’t remember the term.. polysexual or something. Like that sexuality where you like 3 or more specific genders. I don’t know if I got that right-

Am I pansexual? Do you guys think so? Any tips or advice or anything for helping me find out?

Update: Also have realized that I like men much more romantically and women much more physically. I dunno if that changes anything. Also, I saw trans men. I was very confused because thats when I realized it is much easier to tell who is trans when the person is a woman. The men literally look like men. I like them but I LIKE THE DRAG QUEENS BETTER OKAY- (I’m a girl though :/)

I’d like to add the fact while I’m at it that I don’t want to tell my parents. My mother thinks the LBGTQ+ community is weird. She tells me she’d have more respect if it weren’t so popular right now. The reason why it’s, ahem, “popular” is because it’s more widely respected now, and every day kids are being introduced to this and REALIZING THINGS. Her problem is she’s got a co-worker who went by “she/they.” The co-worker snapped when my mom called them “she“ because they had changed their pronouns to “they/them.” They aren’t a nice person at all, I get that, I met them before and they are a complete snob. But at least have some respect…

I think my dad would understand, though. He is highly accepting. I feel like if I came out, it’d be to him first. Which seems very backward compared to most people, but yeah. At least I have a good parent. BUT HAHAHA IF I COME OUT THEN BYE BYE TO MY ENTIRE MORMON FAMILY (Grandma, grandpa… everyone but my dad and aunt.) BECAUSE ONCE THEY FIND OUT THEY WILL BE LIKE, “Oh, I guess pansexual is going to hell.”

Meh I actually don’t like them too much so.. yeah theres your useless information I felt like getting off my chest. Again, thanks for reading.

- ANOTHER UPDATE: my brain is so broken from this that once I asked in the title what my gender identity is and then got really confused when it said i liked women physically. I THINK KIDZTALK CHANGED IT FROM THE ONE I SAID TO PHYSICALLY. WHAT I MEANT WAS SE- you know what I don’t need to finish that.

God hates Pride in fact he despises Pride . In my life God has taught me a lesson of pride . Once upon a time ... Well last Sunday , I was at youth and I met this Girl . She was fairly new .She was saying how she wasn't very good at rembering. In my mind I was thinking about how good I was at rembering names. And well I was wrong My names were close ,but not correct when I learned I WAS embarrassed .

So this is basically lgbtq+ update!

atm I identify as a bisexual, but I think I'm pansexual (EVERYBODY IS HOT WHYYY) I just don't feel like idetifying as that rn haha. My pronouns are she/he/them idc I usually identify as a girl but you can use any pronouns with me as long as you're comfy! To anybody who's struggling with their sexuality you got this, it took me a year to figure mine out and I'm still trying to pin-point it! And if your parents don't support you, you're safe with me I'll use your preffered pronouns and respect you <3

P.S. Purple, this is similar to your post, hopfully it doesn't seem like I'm copying you, I just thought the idea was cool. Btw I'm sorry your mom doesn't use your pronouns! I struggle with gender identity a lot especially since I came out. Coming out hasn't changed much in my life. I'm still seen as a girl or I'm making someone sad about my lacking of being one. Though that brings up another thing; maybe I am just a girl. Maybe it's denial im enby from my family who says they are trying but lately I haven't felt dysphoria. Its not genderfluid cuz it changes over months I would call it demigirlflux I can't find anyone like me. Maybe I'm cis I really don't know. The thing is I can't see myself being enby as an adult though that might just be internalized stuff. And I really really want my crush to like me but they are lesbian. Can lesbians like demigirls? I mean if elon musk is considered straight then maybe? Ig it depends on the person. I don't think I've ever had a real crush before just dork diaries making me pretend to. We're friends but idk...

Decided to put in a little update on where I am, gender-wise.

Before I took a, 'break,' from KT, I had decided I was female. As of December 2020, I feel I am gender fluid, and pansexual.

If any of you have any questions about what the following terms mean, please ask them! I am so willing to explain it to the best of my ability.

Currently, I feel I am attracted to all genders, which is not the same as bisexual. When you are bisexual, you are attracted to two 'main' genders; female and male. I say main in quotes because most people only know two genders. Heck, even I didn't know about more than two genders before 4th grade!

There are a LOT of different genders. This is good, because everyone feels like they have an identity, but it can be hard to keep track of. Some of the most known ones are female, male, non-binary, gender fluid, bigender, and cisgender. Some of the lesser known ones include agender, gender non-conforming, and many more.

I already made a post about this but im really struggling so I thought I'd make another on another column to see. If you by chance.saw.my last post.you would.know that I know who I am but am too young for people.to take my identity seriously. My friend.is lesbian so she seems most likely to be supportive so I will try to come out to her tomorrow if possible. People misgender me every day but it's really not their fault as I haven't came out to anyone except anonymously on the internet like I am right now. I have to use my dead name when working on assignments at school which really hurts and my hand hovers over the paper every time. I drew a nonbinary pride flag and hid it in my room. Walking into public bathrooms is.... Well honestly it's habit but it hurts if I over think it. I don't often avoid it though since its a place where I can process my thoughts and scenarios if-- WHEN I come out. I know gender identity quizzes aren't that accurate but I've taken a bunch of them..the answers.vary quite a lot but they all agree on one thing; I'm not cis. I DO know I am non binary only when it's an umbrella term. Otherwise I could be bigender, agender, demigender or quite a bit more. I thought I was maybe genderfluid but after reading a first person fiction about it, (symptoms of being human. Great book but includes slurs that may be triggering so quick warning there.) Sorry this became such a long rant but I need help. Not transphobic "help" but genuine help finding a label, dealing with dyphoria, finding confidence, coming out and answers to my questions. I %100 understand if you can't give advice on all of it but please help where you can. here are my questions: I get this feeling when I don't know who I am or am misgendered and it feels like my heart hits the bottom of my stomach.Is that gender dysphoria? One of my friends jokingly uses gay as an insult. They don't mean harm But how can I correct them without them taking it the wrong way? How can I come out? I really want shorter hair for my dysphoria but I'm scared of what others will think. What should I do? what is the most causal way to tell your parents you need a therapist? Any dog whistle items for members of the lgbtqia community like something that is gay but to straight people it is nothing remarkable? My parents are threatening to it me on add medication because my focus is really bad but I've heard terrible things about the side effects. Will my gender ever become clear? WOAH that turned into a whole therapy session sorry about that. But please help answer the questions if possible. Sorry if I sound demanding.
