essentially ever since i moved to my town (2yrs) i've gone to church, i never exactly disagreed with stuff i didn't say "yeah jesus is just not real" my mom actually told me once that she didn't think Jesus ever existed.

fast forward and i'm ten essentially alot of bad stuff happened and our family was strewn apart she had lost her job and we weren't going under exactly but dad would say stuff like "the reason why i don't want you to wear those shoes outside is because i don't know when i can get you others" it was scary, then mom was different less depressed but weird, off...

she and dad started fighting, a lot about little things though i didn't think about it though, but when she got angry she would take it out on us, me and dad i felt like something was wrong with me, like i was the reason why she acted like that, i still kinda do...

so one day while nana visited (her mom who put her in a lot of bad situations growing up who my mom doesn't like being as nana is a homophobe) and i'd played with my legos and when trying to be funny i went over to my mom and said while holding the lego "i put a spell on youuuu" she got tense and essentially said to back off and not do that again i felt bad...

then a day or two after she called me up to her room, she had tarot cards on the bed i thought it was cool so i asked if she was gonna do a reading for me, she said no then told me to sit down "[insert real name], i talked to nana and told her something and i wanna tell you too," intrigued (young and dumb more like) i was enthralled already and she explained that back when she was depressed she faced off with the devil, heard gods voice, was gonna be a preacher, oh and i forgot to mention my aunt and uncle were witches who cast spells on us. nope no exageration. i was taken aback, mom wasn't religous really she sung on the stage at church but she liked preforming! she didn't read the bible, pray, any of that! but i loved my aunt and uncle the thought that they could be so mean was overwhelming me, so i was won over to her side

fast forward i'm now eleven and doubting. not only do i not think i believe in Jesus, God, Holy spirit all that, but i absolutely do not believe my aunt and uncle put a spell on my former dog to oof him. (something she didn't say but when i asked said "i don't wanna think about it" so imagine how a ten year old takes that) my dad and her aren't fighting anymore i wish they were though i am scared of her she's never physically hurt me ever but she brainwashes me sort of and generally is manipulative honestly i guess i'm asking if i'm wrong if i'm terrible.

I have a problem, mentally.

I live with my grandparents, and my grandmother is the main one who raises me and my siblings, the thing is she really lacks empathy, I try bot to show emotion, at all, if I'm happy "I get too loud" in her words, when I'm not, I get her acting "supportive" but then she gets very mad about disrespect.

I am forced to bottle it up, which is now making me rude, and spiral at the smallest things.

I am not looking for advice. I am just using this vent post to get it out.

Ok hi um I'm Lana im 12 and im in 8th grade i take all honors with algebra 1. I'm in STEAM club, crochet, and Student council treasurer. I've wanted a phone since I was 8, but she always says mabye next year. We are in a very good financial standing. She bought me a nokia, but she said it 'wasn't mine' I have a meta quest that she has locked away bcuz she dosen't want me on adult things, even though i have a kids account, and she took my nintendo bcuz i was listening to rap music. I do chores on a daily basiis since abt 3 weeks ago, and my room is neat most of the time. I'm a straight A student with like 1 or 2 B's, but im pretty good otherwise. I get teased for my height and age, and forehead already. What should I do?

I am scared of my dad he's always passive-aggressive / physically abusive. I get so much anxiety when he's near me. I don't know what to do and my mom does not care either, I've tried CPS and they've done nothing about the situation. I came to my friend's house and we hung out until 9 pm my dad knocked on the door so I answered and he was so aggressive towards me and my friend noticed it. I'm so scared. Ok so the first thing I have to say is the fact that I have changed my user to match my blog.

Ok so now into the main blog post.

Ok so many people have said in the comments when I say I live in the UK/England that they have always wanted to live in England and I want to say that I love England. But everything isn't as good as everyone makes out all the time as everyone may say. So here is the good and the bad.

First of all the good.

Free healthcare!!!! Ok so this may be an obvious one and yh, I get that my parents would be paying for my healthcare but I am saying this because as I'm really accident prone it is so good that the NHS is reall.
Ok so next up may be a little controversial but i think that another thing is that I really love the fact that I just have a cup of tea every morning. I'm definitely fully British lol :⁠-⁠D
Ok so the final thing is the fact that the weather is actually so much better than the stereotypes. Ok but often the summer you will find me in the smallest shorts that my mother will allow.

Ok so the next thing I'm gonna be talking about is the bad.

Number one. The ice. In the winter, however sunny it has been in the summer at least one day in the winter I have to walk my grandmas dog. I actually just realised something so random. Dog spelt backwards is goD.
Honestly I'm really struggling to find them but here is the next one. Those girls in my class who put on fake American preppy accents. No more to be said

I don’t know what to do. My mom asked to borrow my phone to call my grandma because hers was dead so I said yes and handed it over. My phone can be spotty on calls when I have tabs open as it it’s an older model so I closed everything out before giving it to her. I have OCD so I can’t stand having any notifications on my homescreen so i always clear out my mail, messages, etc. So I went to clear out my inbox in my phone app and saw my mom never made the call. I figured maybe she deleted it because she knows it bothers me. When I went to swipe out of my phone app I saw that all my socials were open as well as my photos and my browser. I knew I had closed them so I am sure my mom went through my phone and I don’t know whether to confront her or to leave it alone. It’s not like I am a bad kid that she has to check that I’m not doing anything bad. I don’t understand why she doesn’t trust me and I don’t know how to handle it. If you have any advice it would be much appreciated.

Ok so I have been friends, BFFS, with this one girl since 5th grade, and all of a sudden she said she didn't want to be friends at all anymore. Well, first she like started ignoring me, not talking to me, and hanging out with our (now her BFF) other friend. I asked her if she was mad or something, and she said no. Then one day she texted me and told me to stop copying everything she does and that I am very clingy and annoying and stuff. She said that she didn't want to be BFFS anymore, but maybe just friends. (for info on the copying claims, see down) I said I dont copy her and that ok we can be just friends, thinking that we would now be ok and talk. But instead she kept ignoring me and like never talking to me. then she texted me and said that like i am still copying her and we shouldnt be friends at all. She also got all of our other friends against me and now they all dont talk to me except one. They talked about me behind my back, (they were quite obvious about it), and made a name for me called veronica and like in front of me talked about this veronica. I told her that i knew it was me, but she lied and said it wasn't, then ater sad it was. Ok. Also, at my friend's bday party, she never talked to me, and i got to see her from the outside view. she was on her phone the entire time and never interacted with nayone rly. now i like see how she actually is, and ive gotten over it. just pls tell me how i can make more friends, and any advice or knowledge u have for me.

Today at school I told my teacher about something my dad did to hurt me. I can already tell what’ll happen and I don’t want to go home. Hi guys so I’ve been having some struggles with my BFF.

I don’t know why because we haven’t had any fights. Or disagreeing on anything. So I don’t know what’s bothering me. I met her for a walk today and everything was great. But I just feel like my phone stresses me out and with all the Texts and calls I have to keep up with.

On April 16th, 2020, Steve Cash, the creator of Talking Kitty Cat videos died. He died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in his apartment. He had 2.44 million subscribers on YouTube where he posted his videos. He was a happy person in his videos with Slyvester, although on social media he was open about his mental health. I am gonna miss him, his video brought a smile to a lot of people's faces including mine. Rest in peace Steve.

I saved up for years and finally bought myself a good computer. My room was slightly messy (terrible in their opinion) and I didn’t clean it fast enough so they took and hid the computer I payed nearly $400 dollars for. I have been having dreams about bears. The first one was when I was being chased by a bear. The second one was when I was inside looking out the window and there was a bear just sitting there, laying down like a cat does when they want to be petted (y'all crazy cat lovers know what I'm talking about). Anyway, I asked google, and it said that if a bear is chasing you in a dream it signifies you avoiding a big issue and needing to deal with it now.

In the second dream, it was weird bc it felt so real, since i was in the second dream looking at the bear, and remembering having a dream about a bear chasing me before. So I thought that I was in reality at this point. (I have very vivid dreams. I don't know if recognizing other dreams within dreams means something regarding the meaning of them both, I just know that I have a bizarre memory so maybe that's all it is) so please help me if you may know what it means or how to deal with it. Thanks.

FUN FACT ABOUT ME: I can remember the layout of both houses that I've lived in, even though I'm 13 now and was 5 years old or less while living in them, but I will still have trouble remembering what I had for dinner last night. (What DID I have for dinner last night????)

yesterday i had a dream about my "crush" (i don't like saying that) where we were a bit younger, so like maybe back in 5th grade, and we were at a big gathering (why we knew the bratayley family and were at their house, idk...I DONT EVEN WATCH BRATAYLEY. but in my dream i thought it was perfectly normal to know them for some reason?!!¿!!!¡?) and he was playing games on an iPad near the door with some of his friends i think, and i was in and out of that room because i think it was the kitchen. so there was a table of adults who kept talking about him and how "cute" he was whenever i would walk by or be around them. it was really cringey and really bad.

next dream.....:

this was last night and a little more recent so it seemed to take place this year. so my friend used to like the same guy as me, and it kinda felt like we were competing for his affection. a very awful feeling. because when she would have a sort of moment with him, then i would. and i think that i was the last one before him and his little sister left, and since he's a boy and also my crush, i can hug his little sister and everyone else but not him for some reason. so instead we shook hands. WHAT THE FREAK IS THAT. *also my friend doesn't like him anymore, but they both came over recently and she kinda seemed to still like him, though she's my best friend and would tell me if she did*

*also i've had many dreams about him...over 10 now; i've lost count. and for my very short-lived other crush that didn't last 2 years, only like half a year, i only had 2 dreams about. but i've liked my current one for like 2 years now so i've had way more dreams about him. a lot of them just him being there that day or whatever. or him having a little girlfriend in freaking kindergarten and me being jelly about it or something ridiculous like that xD. i need help *
