Some users have been answering questions with low quality content, such as only saying "Interesting" just to get points. We view this as content spam that wastes time for other users reading it. Please only post content that adds true value. Repeatedly doing this activity can cause your account to be blocked and/or lose points.

Some users have been posting low quality content, such as just one-word answers or comments. They often don't have any real value to the discussion or question and lower the quality of KidzTalk overall. These posts also take up a lot of our moderators time too, even when they are hidden as spam. Please avoid these types of activities. The best way to earn points is with quality content that gets natural upvotes and best answer selections.

We have made a recent policy change. Sites like bestiefy.com quiz sites and others that collect user data will no longer be approved. There is just too much risk it can leak personal information and they are difficult to moderate.

We do our best to block personal information. However, some users may have discovered ways to contact you by accident, such as doing random emails that might match your username, or going to other social media sites. Never respond back to them.

In addition, users trying to contact you outside of KidzTalk without your consent may also lose their KidzTalk account.

Please do not ask for anyone's phone number that can only lead to online insults and people pretending to be nidal/salish/ECT

This is not a place to be to ask for a phone number as kidztalk has certain rules as to not share any personal information though (country/state) is fine no:email adresses,phone numbers,full names(including last name),and no adresses,or any usernames for example "this is my username @exampleusername"

Please do not pretend to be nidal/salish/ECT this will only lead to confusions

We want KidzTalk to be a fun and safe place, so please follow our rules. This is from our FAQ

Here is a summary of our rules:

Personal information that can identify you is not allowed. This includes your full name, or first name if it is not common, where you live (state/country is okay), pictures, video, or audio of yourself, family, or people you know. Never give your email to anyone.
Everything must be family-friendly. KidzTalk has a very wide range of users, so everything must be appropriate for all grade levels. Adult language or images are not allowed. Excessively graphic/gory drawings or images are not allowed. This also applies to stories. Even though everything gets fully moderated, it wastes the time of the people that screen them and can result in permanently blocking your account, or IP address for unregistered users.
No dating. We will not tolerate posts or private messages that appear like "online dating" between members and will ban accounts that abuse the rule.
Bullying other users in any form is not allowed and will result in banning your account if we see it.
Do not impersonate other users, such as using their name, or spelling variation. This can result in account blocking.
Please respect copyright rules. Do not copy things from other users or websites without proper permission. This includes copy/pasting blocks of text, or using images you don't own. Unfortunately, some users have been trying to either get or give personal information from others, like email, and even bragging about it using private messages. We don't want to go into the details for security reasons and have received complaints from other users.

This is activity that we don't take lightly. Anyone doing this must stop immediately. There are laws in the U.S. that prevent us from storing personal information from kids. If you are intentionally trying to hide your personal information from us and cause emails to be disclosed, you are causing harm to others.

If anyone asks you for your email, or things related to it that can help them find it, like a link to a chatroom, etc., report the situation to us.

Personal Photo Policy Reminder

All,

We noticed more people posting partially covered up photos of themselves. Please make sure that no part of your face is visible, which includes things like your eyes, nose, or lips. It must completely black out (or blur) your entire face to be allowed. Posting full-body pictures are also discouraged, since they can often give too many identity clues.

It is also important to pay attention to what is around an image, since no personal information is allowed, like your school name on clothing, personal name on documents, etc.

Unfair Online Rules

Actually, I'm not giving you a list of unfair online rules. What I am doing, though, is ranting (yes I rant a lot) about one unfair online rule that REALLY bothers me.

     Okay, so here's an example of it: To sign up for an account to use Claude 2 AI, you HAVE to check 2 boxes: One that says that you agree to the policies and all that. Yeah. That's a good one. That's not unfair, and not what I'm ranting about. The thing that is unfair and that I'm ranting about is the other box that you have to check: The one that says, "By checking this box, I agree that I am 18 years of age or over."

     This is just unfair. There isn't another word to describe it: Unfair. Unfair. Unfair. That's it. Just unfair. Like. WHY? Why can't PEOPLE under the age of 18 make an account to use an AI? Don't the people who made this stuff remember, that, even though they're younger, everybody who is under 18 is STILL A HUMAN? STILL A LIVING THING, WITH FEELINGS? Because, for some reason, people just treat us like we're jerks and like we are an entirely different thing that isn't a living thing.

     It's unfair. You know, there's a thing called adultism. It's so not-well-known (not rare, it's just not well known) that my computer says that I spelled something wrong and "adultism" isn't a real word. So not well known you probably won't find it in your school's dictionary. (But you might, and if you do, W to that dictionary for recongnizing it.) But it's basically treating kids unfairly and liking adults better. Saying that kids can't be here is a little bit adultist.

I saved up for years and finally bought myself a good computer. My room was slightly messy (terrible in their opinion) and I didn’t clean it fast enough so they took and hid the computer I payed nearly $400 dollars for. Just FYI, I don’t get allowance so all the money I earned was from my birthday and babysitting for other families. The computer is in my name and I think I have the right to keep it. What you you think?

alright, so I changed my thingy to AwEsOmE_sBiMkA, because I like the letters patterns, plus I love being spontaneous; so the first thing I answered as the new account was a riddle and the answer was sponge, and that's what "sbimka" means.
