While we cannot control what you do outside of KidzTalk, we strongly advise you to never communicate in any way with users you met on KidzTalk. It is for your safety. We do our best to block personal information. However, some users may have discovered ways to contact you by accident, such as doing random emails that might match your username, or going to other social media sites. Never respond back to them.

In addition, users trying to contact you outside of KidzTalk without your consent may also lose their KidzTalk account.

We want KidzTalk to be a fun and safe place, so please follow our rules. This is from our FAQ

Here is a summary of our rules:

Personal information that can identify you is not allowed. This includes your full name, or first name if it is not common, where you live (state/country is okay), pictures, video, or audio of yourself, family, or people you know. Never give your email to anyone.
Everything must be family-friendly. KidzTalk has a very wide range of users, so everything must be appropriate for all grade levels. Adult language or images are not allowed. Excessively graphic/gory drawings or images are not allowed. This also applies to stories. Even though everything gets fully moderated, it wastes the time of the people that screen them and can result in permanently blocking your account, or IP address for unregistered users.
No dating. We will not tolerate posts or private messages that appear like "online dating" between members and will ban accounts that abuse the rule.
Bullying other users in any form is not allowed and will result in banning your account if we see it.
Do not impersonate other users, such as using their name, or spelling variation. This can result in account blocking.
Please respect copyright rules. Do not copy things from other users or websites without proper permission. This includes copy/pasting blocks of text, or using images you don't own. For example, if an image has the name of a user on it, or a watermark, you should not use it. If something is made for sharing, you can use it.
You should avoid using AI tools to create serious content or images. In general, they create a poor experience and can often be wrong. However, you can use AI and state that AI was used when generating things just for fun, like memes.

Email Privacy

Unfortunately, some users have been trying to either get or give personal information from others, like email, and even bragging about it using private messages. We don't want to go into the details for security reasons and have received complaints from other users.

This is activity that we don't take lightly. Anyone doing this must stop immediately. There are laws in the U.S. that prevent us from storing personal information from kids. If you are intentionally trying to hide your personal information from us and cause emails to be disclosed, you are causing harm to others.

If anyone asks you for your email, or things related to it that can help them find it, like a link to a chatroom, etc., report the situation to us.

Advice on Safety

WOW!! What a day!!!!

Accidents can happen any time so you better be prepared! Two days ago me and my sister and my grandparents were going somewhere and then the turbo charger on their SUV went out. Then the back started smoking then we went to a gas station and tried to go up the driveway hill. But the engine cut off before we even got to the gas station. We pulled over on the side of the road. We all jumped out and we abandoned the truck and got everything out as quickly as we could. And next I saw FIRE dropping from the bottom of the truck. My sister and my grandma went up on top of the hill and my grandpa got the rest of the stuff out. I was screaming to the top of my lungs so my grandpa can get out of the area of the truck. There were people at the gas station helping us get stuff out. Then the whole ENGINE WAS ON FIRE!!!!!!!! Then the driver seat and the passenger seat caught on fire . Then the middle where my sister and I were sitting was in flames. The whole truck was on fire. And that's when the firefighter's came and sprayed the truck and put the fire out in 2 minutes. After they put the fire out, there was just some white smoke coming out of the the truck's hood. Then Grandpa, my sister, and I went inside the convenience store and washed our faces and got a drink. After it was all done my Grandpa and Grandma made their own report on a paper. Then my great aunt gave her car to my Grandma. And my Grandma drove me and my sister to our destination and left my Grandpa and aunt at the gas station until my other great aunt would pick them up. From there my Dad would pick my Grandpa up and leave my aunt at her house.

So always come prepared in case an accident happens like the one that we experienced.

More Advice On Safety

Never:

1. Ride a bike without a helmet!

2. Leave toys on the ground such as: Lego's, action figure's, and thumbtacks.

3. Run in the kitchen

4. Get to close to a fire!

5. Never run with a screw driver in your hand!

6. Run outside without your shoes.

Always:

1. Jump from low spots

2. Use a drill with an adult's permission

3. Walk across the road with your parent

4. Use scissors with adult permission.

Just a few things to think about to keep yourself safe!

This is my entry! Enjoy!!

Bike safety is really important! Since so many people ride bikes, there would need to be rules or somebody could get severely hurt. The first rule is: NEVER RIDE BIKES ON A SNOWY OR RAINY OR HAILEY (Idk XD) OR SLEETY DAY! That is dangerous! If you were driving down your driveway and it was icy outside, if your bike ran down on the ice, your bike will get out of control and you will fall off!
The second rule is, WHEN YOU WANT TO STOP YOUR BIKE AND YOU ARE BIKING REALLY FAST, DON'T PRESS DOWN ON THE LEFT HANDLEBAR TO STOP!! That is really dangerous! Because let's say you were driving down the road and I was driving really fast. If I pressed down on the left handlebar, that stops your front tire, not your back one. And that means, if that happens, the front tire will stop while your back tire is still moving, your bike will go forward and you will fall off your bike, and it will really, really, hurt you!
And the last one is, BE SAFE!!!!!!!! That is the most important rule! Your parents, friends, EVERYBODY wants you to be safe! Nobody wants you to get hurt! That is the main idea of this entire contest! Be safe with bikes! Nobody ever wants you to get hurt!!
