So I am kinda in the middle of an identity crisis, cuz I don't know what my style is. I'm kinda leaning towards Midwest emo, but also kinda not. I think maybe indie rock?

To be honest, I think y2k also comes with a personality not everyone has. It's the shows you watch, your hobbies (maybe thrifting), music you listen to, even the way you walk. It's a whole persona that's achieved- and there's a lot of pressure to achieve it to due to it becoming a trend. Not only that- it's so expensive- bc y2k is a lot of pieces in one. And when something includes a lot of maybe variety or amount- it's usually costly. So y2k is a style that's so swaggy, but at what cost?

maybe its a sign i should major in fashion lwk like maybe this is the beginning of smth

First, cut your least favorite jacket that isn't too thick. Then, put the bottom part on as a top.

Next, put on the short jacket. DO NOT cut the arms off. It might look weird or tacky.

Your done!

Or if you want, use the bottom part of the jacket as a short skirt, and button up the jacket as a top. Or jut cut a white shirt to make it shorter and use that.

Dear KidzTalk People,

So I have been wondering a lot lately... There are several people at my school who dress so nicely. I'm talking dresses, Crop tops, and Baddie style is what you call it? Anyways, I don't know you name it.

I feel like I don't fit in, I'm the Sweatpants-T-shirt-Hoodie kinda person. I feel like I should start spending money but at the same time money doesn't just grow on trees. I also get told to wear what I want and dont follow others.... But is it really that easy if you wanna dress to impress. And i'll be honest i'm not the skirt type but I could try to rock a dress when I'm in the mood. But it also feels not me... I'd like help in anyway if I should go blow money or stay my style.

I would say mine is casual/plain/comfortable. Probably because I m homeschool and I sit around my house. P.s. I was homeschooled before covid. Lots if people ask! Next year I m going to a school were you have to wear uniforms. I don't want a uniform!!!
