I woke up to the sound of pouring rain on the window sill. I rolled over and checked the time on my ipad--6:30 AM. "Ugghhh," I groaned. I hated getting up early. HATED. Because I'd always end up never getting back to sleep! And so then I would be sitting there waiting for my mom to wake up and start on the 1st course of breakfast. (In France, there are 3 courses in each meal.) I heard my ipad beep so loudly that I was about to jump out of bed. I grabbed it and placed it on my lap, but to read a text that I was sure was screamworthy:

I was literally about to explode. I ran downstairs to tell my mom the news without even thinking twice. "Ma ma ma! Pandora est arrivant a France quand ils sont fini avec les voyage?" (Ma ma ma! Pandora is coming to France when they're done with the trip!) She sat up. "Qui est Pandora?" (who's Pandora?) "Que fille Je a parlé a dans Mexico.." (that girl I talked t in Mexico) I replied slowly. "Oh. Je savoir que tu sont content avec que.." (I know that you're happy with that) I smiled. "Merci boucoup!" I replied. (Thank you very much) Running back upstairs, I shook loose my messy braid and brushed the curls straight. I puffed it and twirled it all around, struggling to find the perfect 'do for the day. I decided to at least text Pandora back.

What time will you get here?

She didn't respond. Oh, well. After all, it IS only 9;30 AM in America. Oops! I forgot it's still the morning where she is! Oh well?????
