It was late morning when we got to council of the dragon searchers. (We meaning me and necrobia ) The week before was a mess getting ready for this trip,all the preparation on short notice. Forthir had to cut woodworking time just so we could go . It is always trouble going on trips normally we need a month before we go on long trips.

" oh look its a palace , I said "How kingly!" NecrobiA corrected me "Well Actually it is a fortress" " However they name it , I ponderd " It's still a palace . They really like to hide how they became rulers ,I mean think about it. They give us laws we have to follow, They are Rulers therefore this is a palace . Are you afraid of losing your job necrobia ? " Neceobia Replied " Yes "

"And tell me why do you want this job ?" I asked

"To earn some respect " He answered nervously

"Why do you want respect "? I said " Its cause you're small isn't it ."

I trudged through the courtyard (or as they like to call it Defense yard ),Holding necrobia on my left shoulder , Dreading meeting the council . as we headed towards the silver door I heard necrobia say he loved me .(We had been best friends since I was born) I smiled back at him ,and Whispered thank you said

We Kind of toured the "Fortress " until a council member came up to us and said

" Welcome, you must be Glendora ,and necrobia what took you so long to get here , you must have wanted to stay with her . Come right this way ."We followed him to a court room ( Head room) . Looking around I saw men ,Young and old, and women ,all in similar outfits. All Green an blue with a symbol that looked like a Dragon claw .

They all stared at me with all their attention. After what seemed like a eternity the eldest said"Glendora you will go and try to find the dragons ." wait wasn't there supposed to be a test a young man asked. That was the test the elderly man said

Leave Glendora ,Find th Dragons within 3 weeks you will head out to find the dragons.

. Slowly getting out of of my Rickety,old bed,I looked at the sunrise.I smiled ,and was happy., you know that feeling in the morning where you're happy ,and all of a sudden you remember what you have to do today .

I have to go on that dumb quest.

"Tell me Dad ,tell me more about the right types of trees to make different things," I said Handing my father a saw . Father Replied, " Well you got the Gob tree and the Fatherless tree ,The Gob tree is good for....

" Oh hey Necrobia " I exclaimed. Necrobia was a Werm ,A squirrel like creature, With his large eyes and Tiny Body you would think he was young. In reality he was 14 Old enough to be a messenger.

I asked him" What are you doing here ? I haven't seen you in 4êß.I missed you you know. ,I smiled I was ecstatic for this surprise. "You want to see what my Fothir is working on ?"

"Thank s ,but no" he chirped "Ummm I was sent here to send you a message .". " wait so your a messenger ?" I asked "If so congratulations!" He Glared at me wondering when I would stop talking. "You know...,I paused " What's the message ?". He cleared his throat and in his most professional voice which really sounded like a fake professional voice, " You Glendora Hartwood are hereby summoned to the council of The Searchers to be tested to see if you're worthy enough to find th Dragons of the old ". Wait let me see that " I said . Dad Come look at this!"

I woke up in the morning, and looked over to my twin, Lucy's bed. She wasn't there. Lucy was an early riser, unlike me. I looked at the clock, and it was about 7:00. I jumped out of bed and got ready for school.

I was still thinking of the wonderful dream I had last night. I met dragons and I had a phoenix and two cute baby unicorns as pets. I love and believe in magic.

After some time, I went down for breakfast. And went to school in the bus with Lucy. I told her about my dream. 'It was a bit realistic, Lucy!' I said. 'Oh, Lily, don't dream, magic is not true!' Said Lucy.

I sighed. I wanted a friend or someone to talk with. Someone, who would believe in magic. I liked being unique, and I was unique in almost everything. But this one thing about magic, makes me feel hurt every time someone talks to me about magic......
