Sorry I've been a little inactive lately- I've been ultra-mega busy lately!! I've got an update (not a particularly great one, but it's got a couple story times in it!! XD) coming soon, and I have a question...

Can I post a stupid love/ apology/ rant letter on here?? Ik it's dumb but I've been meaning to do something, and I can't figure out where else to do it!! Ahaha!!

Dude -_- There are these two lovely vintage crewneck jumpers on "Etsy" (kinda like Ebay), but they're one of a kind, and sorta expensive. Anyways, I can afford them both if I really want to, but until I get my paycheck in the mail, it would be a good idea to wait. It was sent off in the mail today, so I am DYING to receive it so I can buy my crewnecks before someone else does!! Oml my anxiety level rn is like, astronomical XDXDXDXD

What are they?? They are vintage Alaskan Iditarod racing (an Alaskan dog race) sweatshirts from the 90's, but I want them SO insanely bad!! LOLLLLLLL WISH ME LUCK AND PRAY THAT I GET MY CHECK TOMMORROW!! XDXDXD

Okay, so, I have this thing coming up for cheerleading on the seventh of July. It is a team visit to our teammate's lake house (woot woot!!). I did it last year, and it was SUPER fun!! I love my squad, and I really want to get to know the new girls better. Plus, this is one of those events that are like, you HAVE to be there (not really but like, in the social views). Also, did I mention I cheer with Tom's sister and his mom is our asst. coach?? Hmmm....

Unfortunately, the date wasn't set until last night, and now it is too late for me to apply for leave from work, as our schedules have already been set in stone. I work from mid-afternoon till 9-ish PM on the seventh. Not only do I just typically lifeguard that day, I also aide in swim lessons!!

Here are my options:

1. Miss out on lake day and go to work like a good employee.

2. Drop my shift and try to find someone else to cover it (Idk if I could do this because I'm an aide) and go to the lake!!

3. See if I can push my shift so it starts later and have someone cover for regular guarding, and rush home for lessons.

Okay guys, I really need help with this one!! Thanks!!

Hey ya'll! I've been gone for about a week, which is about as long as I have ever been inactive. Anyways, I hope all is well with you guys!!

So, a bunch has happened over the past week that I have been DYING to post! But ofc, I've been busy.

Am I a newspaper? 'Cause it's a new issue every day!!

Issue #1: Dustin

Well, a bunch has happened with Dustin. After school that day, he proceeded to call me to apologize, saying he felt so bad for what happened that day. We talked for a bit, life went on, and I guess he likes me! Yay! Ish. You'll see later why it's "ish" and I'm not already dating this guy. Anyways, so we've been texting, he's been pretty flirty in person and online. Life goes on.

Issue #2: New Cheer Coach and Season

Normally, I'm not worried about this, but lately, I am. Our cheer coach has left us with a new coach, one I secretly really don't like. She's making us replace our perfectly good uniforms with new ones! It's gonna be so hard for me to afford this- I got my uniforms half off because they were used for $200 or $300- new ones cost up to $700. We have to purchase new shirts and bows and all of that junk! Our stuff we used this year is fine! Not to mention, instead of our typical summer training starting and ending in August, it goes ALL. SUMMER. LONG. Aughhh! I'm just so frustrated! We even have to wear the same exact hairstyle during games!! This new coach is a freaking dictator :(

Issue #3: Work-Life-School Balance

With both cheer and lifeguarding this summer, I'm going to be so exhausted, and I'm worried! Lifeguarding is a high-stress job, and I must be alert at all times- I can't be sore and tired from practice all the time. Ofc, I'm gonna give it a shot, but I'm afraid I will be fired :( Not to mention, with cheer being more intense than last fall and winter, I'm nervous about my grades. Again, gonna give it a shot.

Issue #4: Tom

Tom is not just a friend. I'm conflicted. Very conflicted. Him and I have been texting everyday for 3 hours at least since about a week and a half ago. I figured (and he really does) he just has a flirty personality. We make jokes that we should date each other and that stuff; I really didn't think anything of it. So we were texting last night, and the topic got to love. He said no one has ever been in love with him, and I said "lol same tho." He proceeded to tell me that's not true- he new of at least two people who did like me. I said "wait, two?" Tom said Dustin, obviously. I asked him if it was him. So I called. When I asked again he just laughed nervously, and quickly changed topics to tell me about his Jimmy Johns meatball sandwich. He eventually gave in. He does. And I sorta like him back too, but I like Dustin also! They both are great guys, but I don't wanna lose either of them. If I didn't pick, I will lose them both. But if I do, what if it's the wrong choice? Another thing, Tom is a year and 8 months younger than me- kinda far off from Dustin's single 8 months. What am I supposed to do you guys!? There's two guys, and only one of me. I'm actually so confused and I feel awful. Please help!!

How to make an original cupcake sandwich:

Although this seems really complicated, all you need is a cupcake and a knife or your bare hands. Its very easy, amazingly delicious, and is more awesome with sprinkles!

Cut the cake of the cupcake in half hamburger way.
Now, take the bottom half of the cupcake, the half that doesn't have the icing, and put it on top of the icing.
There you have it! Your amazing cupcake sandwich! You can serve this at bday parties or any kind of party and you can give the original cupcake way a twist. best with sprinkles any other toppings that are fit for cupcakes. Just make sure you put them on the icing before you put the cake on top. And make sure you don't eat the wrapper!

You can also do this with other types of deserts, as it shows in this picture. This person used mini colorful waffles and put the icing on the waffle:

I've been researching this stupid stuff for like 14 hours. Nothing. When will I be put outta my misery?!

No, wait, no. I shouldn't have thought~said that. Now's not the best time for me to be even more stressed out. (Yeah that's right. I just made a twentyøne piløts reference.)

I close all my tabs on the computer and go sit on my turquoise bed, gazing at the palm tree leaves barely visible at the peak through my wall-length bedroom window. They swayed in the wind like reeds in a pond. "Hmmph," I sighed, deeply intrigued in my own thoughts.

My phone hummed a tweety bird sound for the twentieth time that hour. I lifted it slightly. Natali again. I still kinda feel bad at the way I'd talked to her yesterday. I mean, it was kinda rude.

I read them over and over as I did last night, still not responding to them. Exactly ELEVEN messages in counting. The first few read things like:

Are u all right?

Woried bout ya lia

How ur doin aftr ystrdy :o

Cya ltr. Gtg 4 some surfin ur welcome 2 cum if ya wanna

They basically consisted of things like that. If share more, but I'm too tired. I've already missed so much sleep. "I hope I'm not deblivious as to what these say for the lacking of sleep," I said to myself.

My messy bun was looking particularly messy this morning. Probably because I hadn't brushed my hair in two days. (Don't you judge me! *waves index finger*.) I heard a familiar sound pounding on the wooden divider of my room and the hallway. "So? The doorknocker returns?" I spun around, clicking the lock on my doorknob so my dad could enter. "Lia?!" How To Make Friends

Making friends can be difficult even for the most outgoing person. Here I have gathered some tips on how to make friends easily.

Join an activity/class that you enjoy. There you will meet people who also enjoy the activity/class, which gives you one thing in common. There you will be able to take off!
Limit your internet usage. Get your nose off the screen! Try interacting more with people in real life.
Ask open ended questions. That basically means when socializing, don't ask simple questions that can be answered in one word.
Smile! If you smile more, people will assume you are friendly and maybe talk to you.
Do what you love! If you like reading, carry the book around! Somebody might ask you about it, or somebody who likes reading or has read the book will start a conversation.
Be funny! Everybody likes somebody funny. Find a joke book from your local library or if you already have one, and walk up to people and tell them jokes!
Try new things! People like people who are diverse and interesting. Don't put all your energy on one thing.
Stay out of trouble. If you get in trouble all the time, people won't want to hang out with you because they'll worry they'll get in trouble too.
