*sigh*
Norwegian Politics meet music.
The song is called Hjæm Te Nord (Welcome to the North) The song is in Nynorsk (which is a Norwegian dialect, mainly used by minority groups like the Sami, The Kven and Norwegian-Americans) and Im gonna rant it.
The song is basically about all the wonders of the North. I really like the musical style. it starts off sounding relaxing, and then it becomes EDM. it also has Sámi Joiking in the background music, and I really like that because Northern Norway is Mostly Sámi. It also adds on the Vibe, and I feel a very Nordic vibe and I feel very amazing (I was reading a book while listening to the song, and in my Mind I was Skiing and meeting some Sámi people)
I assume the song was created to boost tourisim, which is why I understand why there were 2 versions. a Norwegian (Nynorsk) version, and an English version. Because I listen to very little music in English, I prefer the Norwegian version. a Sámi version will be reccommended due to the diference of culture in Northern Norway (Southern Norway = Bokmål Norwegian, Northern Norway = Sámi and Nynorsk Norwegian)
Overall, This is an absolutely great song. I really like the overall vibe, and it may be one of my favorites sooner or later
here is the song (Norwegian)
