So in November ish I met this girl through mutual friends. I kinda knew her already but we started hanging out and talking a lot more. We became close super fast and a few months later she confessed she had feelings for me. I do not have the same feelings back but honestly her liking me does not bother me at all. I just want to be her friend. So anyways after I told her I didn't feel the same way we decided to do no contact so she could move on and I could think. After about a week she reached out and said she missed our friendship. We never really spoke about how she was feeling about me but I was just too happy to have her back. We started talking again and became closer than ever. Then our friendship slowly started becoming a little strange. We were pushing the boundaries of being just friends. I didn't know what to do and I should've spoke or said something but I was just too happy to finally be talking again. Flashforward to a few days ago she told me she feels like I have been leading her on and messing with her head. She tells me we need to do no contact again and that this time it needs to be longer than a week. I don't think no contact is the way to go. Especially since last time was so miserable. I honestly don't know what to do because I want to respect her wishes but I don't think this is the best decision for us. I don't think we should go from being best friends to not speaking at all. And I don't know how long for. I don't know if our friendship can ever be the same again if we just stop talking. I don't know if she will ever reach out. I don't want to lose our friendship. I don't know if I should just reach out and tell her I don't think this is the best decision or just not say anything.
