there's this kid in my class who found out I was non-binary and I found out that they were as well which is cool. but here's the problem: they are closeted closeted to their friends and won't talk to me about it at all when they are near their friends. and they are always near their friends. Soo how can I talk to them?

Just pull your friend aside and try to find a way to tell them what you want to talk to them about without it being obvious. If you find a time when you are alone with them, try to make up a word or phrase to let each other know you want to talk about NB stuff. You could say "Hey (whatever their name is), could I talk to you about pineapples (or whatever code word you choose lol)?"Just as a way to subtly communicate about that lol.

yea. the thing is tho I can't even really find a time where they aren't with their friends to form a code. and we aren't really that close of friends as it is so it would be probably weird for me to do that. idk really what they think of me except we both know we're non-binary and they have started complimenting me more since.
