Normalizing Compliments

Question

I cant believe us as humans haven't normalized compliments. Compliments are now seen as flirting. WHAT THE HECK!? I cant tell a girl I like her shirt without the old lady next to her giving me glare that says "Why are you flirting with another girl".  This is weird.

I was told to get a guy to like you you should complement them bc guys don't get complements and there insecure or something.

LOL, it true guys aare compliment deprived but giving them compliments shouldnt be like a thing that gets them to fall in love with you
