I am loyal. The opposite of me is a cat. I come after every Macy's Parade. I eat kibble. I drool. I play. I hunt. I do tricks. I am either a mutt or a purebreed. What am I?

may be a dog  but the 

word opposite of cat is probably known as 

rat 

I eat kibble is also suitable for rat 

I drool is suitable for both dog and  rat 

because  the wild rats drool sometimes 

 

 

 

 

I play it's sometimes suitable for rat because hamster  is  known as rat cousin 

 

 

 

 

I cannot understand the word hunt it is not  suitable for both  rat and dog  but in night the rats go for a hunt to  collect food
