Chapter 1
Divorce.
I hate that ugly word. It makes me think of marriages ending..And that's exactly what it is.
Kara and James seem excited about the move to our new life, but I'm just dreading it. Worst part is, I have to leave my best friend Bella! We literally called each other and cried! Mom said we can still write and call and text each other, but it's definitely not the same!
I'm packing right now. I blast, Consequences by Camilla Cabello on my phone and dance around as I throw in my t-shirts and pants into my large suitcase. I
Mom comes in, and says, "I'm going to order in pizza for dinner. It should get here in an hour."
" Ok. Also, knock next time. "
Mom closes the door softly behind her.
My Dad is staying here in Miami Florida and getting married in 3 months. He had a girlfriend when he and mom were married!
I flop into the bed and stare at the ceiling. I feel tears coming to my eyes, but I fight them back.
