Even though this is in the venting category its here bc this is a realistic fiction story of my life in middle school ITS NOT NON FICTION SO SOME OF ITS NOT REAL AND ALL NAMES ARE FAKE!!!! Also its written in third person and I'm not sharing my name either :)
Ryleigh handed the notebook to Jackie and ran off towards her next class, Jackie knew what it was and just went to her seat to read their vent notebook, a book of dark secrets.
"I cant do this anymore, I'm about to SH and I'm not doing well b/c people are telling me that I'm weak and useless and I'm not, I just don't start fights. Is that so bad or what? I got yelled at for doing the dishes b/c I forgot ONE CUP like if my stepdad wanted it done so bad he should've done it. My brother, Sam, said I was gonna grow up to be like dad. I'm not gonna grow up to be a bum, I want to be a doctor like you, I want to be a neurosurgeon that doesn't lose its cool and work on the same surgery with you, I know we are still in highschool but its my dream. Also about your mom, don't listen to her, if she doesn't approve of your job idea don't listen to her and do what YOU want!"
Jackie finished reading, she quietly put the notebook under her textbook before she got yelled at by her teacher. But when the bell rang she realized that Ryleigh hadn't answered her texts all the day. This was weird for her because she usually always answers, even in class. She started spam calling her and getting no where. She decided to skip class and keep looking. Jackie didn't know that Ryleigh had been in the bathroom, unconscious. When Jackie found her she screamed but shut up quickly to not draw attention. She was studying neurology behind her Mom's back due to her Mom's disapproval. She laid Ryleigh down on her side and made sure she kept breathing, she knew why it happened. Ryliegh had been getting called fat in school alot and so she decided to not eat unless forced to. She was underfed and Jackie realized this is the first time she actually saw her not as a friend but as someone who had been mistreated by people she trusts. She started crying and eventually realized she had to get Ryleigh out of there before someone came in and saw. She lifted Ryleighs limp, lightweight body, on to her back and started running to the nurses. She almost made it before she fell down the stairs hitting her head off the metal handrail. Next thing she knows she is in the hospital and Ryleigh is no where to be seen.
"Ryleigh!! Where am I?!? Wheres Ryleigh?!? She needs medical attention!!" She attacks the nurse who is trying to calm her and tries running but collapses suddenly. Doctors rush over and place her back in bed and restrain her. She is screaming for Ryleigh until the doctor tells her Ryleigh had to go to ICU
Thank you for reading this is the second chapter to the book due to its the most interesting. Also in perspective reasons I'm Jackie and the fiction part is the attacking the nurse.
