is it js me or like, i dont really know how to explain it but... i feel like i only have a few years left, like in 4 years ill be an adult.. and throughout my teenage years, should i focus on having fun and being carefree, or work hard to get into a good college. i really dont know.

Both. enjoy being young, but also prepare for your future! You can do both at the same time. Talk to you parents, ask them what they would do if they were still in their youth and make sure you complete it before you're too old! Don't waste your youth. Don't waste it caught up in the things of adulthood, but also don't waste it being a child and ignoring your responsibilities, you'll regret doing just one, take advantage of this once in a lifetime experience!
