when you are making a post you can @ someones username and it will notify them that you mentioned them in a post, for example you can @KidzSearch and it will notify them that they were mentioned in a post, this can be done in either answers or comments too, there should also be a toggle so you can turn it on or off if you don't want to get mentioned you wont get notifications.
