Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the last and the greatest prophet of Allah. He preached Islam, the religion of peace and welfare. He was born on August 29, 570 A.D. He was born in the famous Hashemi tribe in the Quraish dynasty in Makka. His father's name was Abdullah and Amina was his mother. His father died before his birth and his mother died in his childhood. He was an orphan. Halima was his foster mother. He was truthful, humble and gentle. From his very childhood he was called Al-Amin. Al-Amin means faithful. He never told a lie. For discipline and peace in society he formed an organization named 'Hilful Fuzul'. The Prophet (pbuh) taught the people the virtue of forgiveness. He asked them to do good to others and worship Allah. He tried to help the people in distress. Everybody loved him. Everyone believed him. The Arabian society was very dirty and barbarian. At that time, killing, robbery, injustice, and barbarism were everywhere in Arab. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) always thought about how to remove that barbarism. He often spent time in the cave of Hera in meditation. At the age of forty Allah revealed the first verse of the Quran on him. After the revelation of the Quran, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) began to preach Islam secretly. But the people of Makka could not tolerate him. They didn't like it and they tried to kill him. He tried his best to preach Islam but the environment of Makka was unfavorable. So he shifted in Madina according to Allah's order in 622 A.D. The people of Madina received him cordially. He established there an Islamic state. At last, he conquered Makka and extended Islam all over the Arab states. In 632 A.D. the Prophet Muhammad (saw) passed away. He was buried in Madina. He was a perfect man. He practically showed Islam in his life.
