Help please!!

Ok so I'm an otherpaw!

Its just the official name for sum1 who likes to cosplay,or dress up as animals! (Not to be confused with a furry or a therian )

I am really into yalekore and think that wearing mask (not just animals) is cool!

But I have a problem

My dad and my mom think I'm just making up excuses for being a furry and therein

Anyways ig I'm okay with that but I don't have official supplies to make a mask

Plus I have to keep it a secret because my friends HATE furries and thereians and would think the same as my parents so um how am I supposed to do this

Again,I'm not a therein or furry.

Wait that's so cool! I love cosplayers and think that they are some of the coolest people ever. I'm actually trying to get started cosplaying, although instead of animals like you, I want to start as a marvel cosplayer. I'm not exactly sure where or how to start tho.

Maybe you can start by not cosplaying as an animal breed, but maybe as a character that is an animal.  That way you can start to show your parents and friends that you aren't a furry or a therian, but that you just want to dress up and have fun.

Try for answering!sadly I'm not allowed to get animal cosplaying stuff so I pretty much gave up but now I dress up like hello kitty characters like kuromi and I also cosplay as Wednesday beetle juice and more people from movies! A marvel cosplayer sounds cool !!
