why does everyone hate kpop??

its literally just songs in korean! and yeah, some of kpop i dont really like but there is also pop music i dont like so whats the difference? its just like pop, no one says that all pop sounds the same. how can you say “kpop sucks” when its not all just one kind of music and they all sound different. if you dont like some songs then you are probably listening to the wrong groups and songs like bts (no offence to them). so instead of hating just say, “i dislike some kpop songs” or just dont say anything about it at all.

hating on it is kind of racist.

But also: many people don't like k-pop due to its fanbase and how they act when talking about their favorite "Idols" or "Biases" (idk what they say these days) and plus, theyre also allowed to have opinions :0

If you feel like they're being too hateful, then that person is  probably expressing their dislike in an excessive way. I can't say much since I'm not a big fan of k-pop or Korean songs in general since I kinda prefer OSTs or a rock kind of genre.

anyways, just ignore people who hate on it if you disagree with their opinion

first of all, not all of it sounds the same, like i already said, so its not all overtuned vocals, basic 4/4 tempo, major key songs. second, they arent all overhyped. there are so many underrated good singers and groups that you probably havent heard. so again, like i said, you are probably hearing bts.
