There are several different ways to do so for different types of smart. Could you be more specific? If you're talking about studying smarts then I suggest you chew on a piece of gum (vary the flavor depending on the subject) while your teacher teaches or you do homework or studying. Then, when you want to remember, eat the same flavor gum as you begin the test. Your brain will then associate the taste of the gum to the subject and you doing the work, causing you to remember the subject better and lock in.
(Exp: Every day in algebra, eat watermelon gum as you listen to your teacher and work on problems. When it's English class, switch to mint. When it's science, another flavor. So on, so forth. When you sit down to take a test, eat the gum correlated to the subject.)
